Charged Overtime. Any employee on disciplinary suspension will not be asked to work, but overtime will be charged against him as though he had refused the same.

Charged Overtime. Any overtime over thirty (30) minutes will be charged as overtime worked and duly noted on the rotation list. Any overtime of thirty (30) minutes or less, will not be noted on the rotation wheel. When overtime is considered charged overtime, it shall be indicated as such.
Charged Overtime. Charged overtime shall mean overtime offered (whether the employee is available or not), overtime refused, or overtime actually worked by the employee unless the employee is scheduled to regularly work the hours for which overtime is necessary. Employees shall be charged overtime when on any type of leave (e.g. vacation, holidays, etc.). However, if an employee works sixteen (16) or more consecutive hours, he/she will not be contacted or charged for overtime during the six (6) hour period immediately following.
Charged Overtime. The employee must personally be contacted and refuse overtime or the City must make reasonable documented effort to contact he employee before the employee may be charged.

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.
