Chief Inspector. The Chief Inspector has overall responsibility for the administration and business of the Inspectorate and, in this capacity, is also responsible for ensuring that the Inspectorate's statutory and administrative governance obligations are discharged. To this end the Chief Inspector is supported by a team of administrative staff provided by the Department. Chief Inspector. This letter will evidence the understanding of the par- ties relating to the position of the Chief Inspector. This position shall be excluded from the bargaining unit. The duties of the Chief Inspector position are: Makes final determination of part disposition when required, and may use any testing equipment necessary to make that determination. Conducts special projects and surveys relating to product quality and Investigates customer rejections and complaints. Supervises and schedules work of bargaining unit employees. On the basis of the understanding outlined above, the Company withdraws its request that the classification “Quality Control” be excluded from the bargaining unit.
