Chief Medical Officer. 2.2.2.3.1. The Chief Medical Officer shall be a physician licensed by the State of Colorado and certified by the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners.
2.2.2.3.2. The Chief Medical Officer shall be responsible for the implementation of all clinical and/or medical programs implemented by the Contractor.
2.2.2.3.3. The Chief Medical Officer shall ensure that all clinical and/or medical programs implemented by the Contractor are implemented and operated in compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations policies and procedures and with the requirements of the Contract.
Chief Medical Officer. The Chief Medical Officer shall be the chief medical officer of the Company, and shall perform those duties which such a position typically requires, subject to the direction of the Board. He/she shall not be a member of the Board but, unless excused by the Board, shall be entitled to attend all meetings of the Board.
Chief Medical Officer. The position within the Contractor’s organization responsible for the implementation of all clinical and/or medical programs.
Chief Medical Officer. The Chief Medical Officer shall exercise direction and control of the medical affairs of the Corporation, including the preparation of any medical related regulatory documents and advising on any medical related matters for the Corporation. The Chief Medical Officer shall have the general powers and duties usually vested in the office of the chief medical officer of a corporation and such other powers and duties as may be assigned by the Executive Chairman, the Chief Executive Officer or the Board.
Chief Medical Officer. Within twelve (12) months after the Closing, the Company shall use its commercially reasonable efforts to hire a chief medical officer or set up a scientific advisory board with members that are experienced in clinical development as approved by the Board of Directors.
Chief Medical Officer. 1. The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) must be a physician with a current, unencumbered license through the Ohio State Medical Board and have at least five years of experience with children's behavioral health services. A physician who is a Board- Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist is preferred. The CMO shall devote a minimum of 32 hours per week to the OhioRISE Plan's operations to ensure clinical oversight and consultation and shall be a member of the OhioRISE Plan's executive team.
2. The responsibilities of the Medical Director/CMO include but are not limited to: Ensuring that the OhioRISE Plan makes timely medical decisions, including after-hours consultation as needed; Leading all major clinical, population health management, and quality improvement components of the OhioRISE Plan; Developing, implementing, and interpreting medical policies and procedures, including service authorization, claims review, discharge planning, and medical reviews performed through the OhioRISE Plan's grievance and appeal system; Leading the administration of all medical management activities of the OhioRISE Plan; Serving as the chair or co-chair of the Utilization Management committee and of the OhioRISE Plan's internal quality improvement committee; Play a lead role in monitoring the overall safety of members with complex and or comorbid medical conditions; Coordinating with the MCOs' care management staff and providers on medical services not included in the OhioRISE Plan's service array, early and periodic screening, diagnostic and treatment (EPSDT), receipt of maternal and postpartum care, family planning, and preventative health strategies; Serving as a key clinical lead in developing and implementing evidence- based clinical policies and practices; Working with MCO's clinical leadership as needed for integration of all health care needs and services for OhioRISE Plan's members; and Assuming key role in quality improvement initiatives, care coordination activities, and member safety activities (i.e., incident management).
Chief Medical Officer. A physician who shall be board-certified in psychiatry and/or internal medicine, be in compliance with all professional licensing requirements, and have at least two years of experience in managed BH care, peer review, or both;
Chief Medical Officer. The delegation by a Minister under clause 15(c) must be in writing and be provided to the Executive Secretariat.

Chief Medical Officer. Mariner employs a physician as a full-time Chief Medical Officer, who reports directly to the CEO. The duties of the Chief Medical Officer include:
a. The provision of expert geriatric medicine content to and oversight of:
1. Ancillary clinical services;
2. Relationships with providers of Physician Services;
3. Physician Credentialing;
4. Medical Director and Physician contracting; and
5. Quality measurement, monitoring and improvement activities;
b. Guidance to the Corporate Compliance and Quality Assessment and Assurance Committees; and c Oversight of contacting with outside clinical organizations, such as managed care organizations and hospitals.
