Classification Placement. On return from leave of absence, the employee shall have the rights to placement in the bargaining unit that arise from the extent of their seniority. On leaves of absence of sixty (60) days or less, the employee will be returned to their former classification and shift, and department. On return from medical leaves of absence, regardless of the duration, the employee will be returned to their former classification, shift, department and job unless the employee's physical condition prevents this reassignment. In such case, the employee shall have the rights to placement in the bargaining unit that arise from the extent of their seniority.
Classification Placement. 18 1. Each employee shall place on file in the District Human Resources Office, a transcript of college 19 work within 60 calendar days of the date of hire for placement on the salary schedule for the first 20 year of employment. Degrees earned shall be posted on a transcript. Salary adjustment for 21 college units or degrees earned shall be made two times a year. For transcripts or grade cards 22 submitted by November 1, placement on the salary schedule shall be adjusted retroactively to the 23 beginning of the duty year. For transcripts or grade cards submitted by March 1, placement on 24 the salary schedule shall be adjusted as of mid year. Transcripts or grade cards submitted after 25 March 1 will be applied at the beginning of the next school year. Changes in salary placement 26 shall be made only two times a year as described herein, provided the employee strictly complies 27 with all time deadlines set forth herein.

  • Classification Plan (a) The Employer and the Union recognize the need to maintain the principles of Pay Equity to evaluate jobs in the Public Service bargaining unit. The parties also agree to apply the Public Service Job Evaluation Plan in accordance with those principles to all bargaining unit positions using the gender neutral plan factors and degrees in the Public Service Job Evaluation Plan. The Public Service Job Evaluation Plan will be used to evaluate positions in the Main Agreement and to determine their appropriate factor ratings.

  • Classification Structure All employees working under this Agreement shall be classified according to the skill based classification structure set out in Appendix A.

  • New Classification Should a new position or new classification be created within the Bargaining Unit during the term of this Agreement, the Employer and the Union will decide the rate of pay. Nothing herein prevents the Employer from filling such positions and having Nurses working in such positions during such negotiations. The salary when determined will be retroactive to the date on which the successful candidate commenced work in that classification.

  • CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES 21.01 The Job Classifications and applicable Wage Rates under this agreement are set forth at Appendix “A” (attached).

  • JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RECLASSIFICATION 26.01 In order to ensure the appropriate classification of jobs listed under Schedule "A" of the collective agreement, the Parties agree that matters related to the classification of new or existing jobs shall be dealt with in accordance with the Joint Job Evaluation Manual of Procedures forming part of this collective agreement. (Appendix "C").

  • Client Classification 7.1. We shall not have an obligation to treat our clients in different classes depending on their knowledge and expertise.

  • CLASSIFICATIONS AND WAGES 1.1 a) Engineers operating: cranes with a manufacturer’s rating of over 164 to 219 tons capacity. Effective May 1, 2013, the wage rate for engineers operating large cranes 220 to 299 tons capacity shall be One Dollar and Twenty-Five Cents ($1.25) per hour above the applicable rate. The wage rate for engineers operating large cranes 300 to 499 tons capacity shall be Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($2.50) per hour above the applicable rate. The wage rate for engineers operating large cranes over 499 tons capacity shall be Four Dollars ($4.00) per hour above the applicable rate.
