Classification, Rules and Regulations. (a) The VESSEL shall be built in compliance with the rules and regulations of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), (hereinafter called the "CLASSIFICATION SOCIETY"), in force as of the date of this CONTRACT, to be classed and registered with the following class notation: +A1, Oil Carrier, +AMS, +ACCU, ESP, CSR, AB-CM, UWILD, TCM, SPMA, CPS, VEC, BWE, BWT, RW, ENVIRO+, POT, GP, NBLES and also to fully comply in all respects with the rules and regulations of the other Regulatory Bodies and authorities, in force as of the date of this CONTRACT, as described in the SPECIFICATIONS.
Classification, Rules and Regulations. (a) The Vessel shall be designed, constructed, surveyed, tested and delivered in compliance with the applicable laws, rules, regulations and requirements of the Classification Society stated in Box 8, and the Regulatory Authorities:
Classification, Rules and Regulations. The Vessel, including her machinery, equipment and outfit, shall be constructed in accordance with Builder’s shipbuilding practice, Builder’s quality standard and the edition and amendments thereto in force at the execution date of this Contract, of the rules and regulations of and under special survey of Lloyd’s Register (LR) (the “Classification Society”), and shall be distinguished in the Classification Society’s register by the symbols of +100A1, “Double Hull Oil Tanker”, ESP, CSR, ShipRight (CM, ACS(B)), +LMC, LI, UMS, IGS, DSPM4, CRANE, COW(LR), *IWS, NAV1, ECO(P, BWM-T, IHM, VECS-L), with the descriptive notes of ShipRight (SCM, SERS), ETA. However, the Classification Society among LR, ABS and DNV shall be discussed between Buyer and Builder in a reasonable manner and finally decided by Buyer within two (2) weeks after the signing of the Contract. Builder shall arrange with the Classification Society for the assignment by the Classification Society of representative(s) to the Vessel during construction. All costs, fees, charges and arrangements incidental to classification of the Vessel in compliance with the rules, regulations and requirements of this Contract, shall be for the account of Builder. Decisions of the Classification Society as to compliance or non-compliance of the Vessel with the said rules and regulations of the Classification Society shall be final and binding upon the parties. The Vessel shall also comply with the applicable rules, regulations and requirements of the other regulatory bodies referred to in the Specifications as in force at the execution date of this Contract and/or which are published and ratified as of the date of signing the Contract.
Classification, Rules and Regulations. The VESSEL, including its machinery, equipment and outfittings shall be constructed in accordance with the rules and regulations in year 2004 July edition of the Classification Society in accordance with both the interpretation of Classification Society (dated on 2005-06-29 Ref No. MKOKR120/MSSH/Gen-precontract/PUS-J-668) and the interpretation of the Classification Society (dated 28th February 2006 Ref. No. MKOKR120/MSSH/Gen-Precontract/PUS-J-698 in respect of new updates in effect as of March 28, 2006 from rule and regulations applied to the HN1639 Series) and under special survey of Det Norske Veritas (hereinafter called the “Classification Society”) and shall be distinguished in the register by the symbol of X1A1 “ Container Carrier”, NAUTICUS, EO, and In water survey and TMON shall be applied according to the requirement of the class rule. Decisions of the Classification Society as to compliance or non-compliance with the classification shall be final and binding upon both parties hereto. Details of its notation shall be in accordance with the SPECIFICATIONS . The VESSEL shall also comply with the compulsory rules, regulations and requirements of the regulatory bodies as described in the SPECIFICATIONS rectified and in effect as of the signing date of this Contract. Non-compulsory rules, regulations and requirements of the regulatory bodies shall be dealt with in accordance with Article V (2) of this Contract. All the fees and charges incidental to the classification and with respect to compliance with the above referred rules, regulations and requirements shall be for account of the BUILDER except otherwise agreed.

The VESSEL, including its machinery, equipment and outfitting shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the rules and under special survey of the Classification Society, in force as of the date of this Contract or which are published on or before the Date of Contract and which are mandatory for the VESSEL on or before the Delivery Date, and shall be distinguished in the register by the symbol of Det Norske Xxxxxxx X0X0, Offshore Service Vessel Supply, XX, X0, ICE-C, DYNPOS-AUTR, NAUT-OSV(A), CLEAN DESIGN, COMF-V(3), COMF- C(3), LFL*, DK(+), HL(+). Classification, Rules and Regulations. (a) The VESSEL including its machinery, equipment and outfittings shall be built in compliance with the rules and regulations of Det Norske Veritas (hereinafter called the “CLASSIFICATION SOCIETY”), in force as of the date of this CONTRACT, to be classed and registered as +1A, CONTAINER CARRIER, EO, BIS, TMON, NAUTICUS (NEWBUILDING) and also to comply with the rules and regulations, in force as of the date of this CONTRACT, as described in the SPECIFICATIONS. Provided that the BUILDER shall have an option to declare the CLASSIIFICATION SOCIETY as either equivalent Xxxxx Register of Shipping or Det Norske Veritas within three (3) month after signing of this CONTRACT.
Classification, Rules and Regulations. The 1st Paragraph of Article I. 3 in the Shipbuilding Contract shall be deleted and replaced by the following; “The Vessel, including her machinery, equipment and outfit, shall be constructed in accordance with the Builder’s shipbuilding practice, Builder’s quality standard and the edition and amendments thereto in force at the execution date of this Contract, of the rules and regulations of and under special survey of DNV-GL (the “Classification Society”), and shall be distinguished in the Classification Society’s register by the symbols of ‘+1A1, “Tanker for Oil ESP”, CSR, COAT- PSPC(B),E0, TMON, SPM, CRANE,VCS-2, CLEAN, BWM-T, BIS’. Words and expressions defined in the Shipbuilding Contract shall have the same meanings when used in this AMENDMENT NO.1, and all other terms and conditions of the Shipbuilding Contract shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect. This AMENDMENT NO.1 shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any dispute, controversy, or difference that may arise between the parties out of, or in relation to, or in connection with, this Amendment No. 1, which can not be settled by the parties themselves, shall be settled in accordance with ARTICLE XIII of the Shipbuilding Contract.
Classification, Rules and Regulations. ( i) The Vessel including its machinery, equipment and outfittings shall be built in compliance with the current rules and regulations of American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) (hereinafter called the “Classification Society”), to be classed and registered as +A1 (E) “Oil / Chemical Carrier Ship type 3”, +AMS, +ACCU, +BWE, CSR, AB-CM, RES, VEC-L, CRC, ESP, UWILD, TCM, CPP and Xxxxxxxx Islands Flag and in accordance with the standards provided in the Specifications. Vessel to be equipped in accordance with regulations of ABS and also to comply with the rules, regulations and requirements of other regulatory bodies (including the aforementioned Flag) as described in the Specifications. All materials, machinery, equipment and accessories to be supplied for the construction of the Vessel shall be new, and of qualified manufacture. The Vessel shall be constructed in sound, prudent and workmanlike manner and according to the Builder’s building practices, quality control.
Classification, Rules and Regulations. The Vessel, including her materials, hull, machinery, equipment appliances and outfit, shall be designed, constructed and equipped in accordance with the edition and amendments thereto in force at the execution date of this Contract as well as at the date of ship’s delivery (provided they are officially published and made known prior to the signing date of this Contract) of the rules and regulations of and under special survey of Class with equivalent notations, (the “Classification Society”). The applicable notations for each candidate Classification Society to be as follows: The actual Classification Society shall be decided by the Buyer within One (1) month from the Contract signing date. *KRS1-Bulk carrier, ‘ESP’, (CSR), BC-A(Hold Nos. 2, 4, 6 and 8 may be empty with Maximum cargo density 3.0t/m3), GRAB[20], IWS, SeaTrust(HCM), PSPC, LI, CHA, ENV(IBWM, IAFS, IOPP, ISPP, IGPP, IAPP) *KRM1-UMA, STCM Decisions of the Classification Society as to compliance or non-compliance of the Vessel with the said rules and regulations of the Classification Society shall be final and binding upon the parties. The Vessel, shall also comply with the applicable rules, regulations and requirements of the other regulatory bodies referred to in the Specifications as in effect at the signing date of this Contract. The VESSEL’S classification status, and all Classification, Statutory and other required certificates hereunder are to be clean and free of all conditions, recommendations and restrictions whatsoever other than those permitted in the Specifications. It is understood that provisional certificates, which are to be replaced by full term ones at a later time (including trim and stability booklet) are to be accepted. All fees and charges incidental to the classification of the Vessel and with respect to compliance with the said rules, regulations, and requirements shall be for the account of Builder unless otherwise stipulated in the Specifications,

(a) The VESSEL shall be designed, constructed, equipped, inspected, tested and completed in accordance with the rules and regulations (the edition and amendments thereto being in force and effect as of the date of this CONTRACT, together with all mandatory rules and regulations and amendments thereto, which have already been ratified upto the date of this CONTRACT and to come into force prior to the date of keel laying of the VESSEL) of and under survey of Det Norske Veritas (hereinafter called the “CLASSIFICATION SOCIETY”) and shall be distinguished in the register by the symbol of +1A1, Container Carrier, NAUTICUS(Newbuilding), E0, NAUT-OC, BIS, TMON, CLEAN, BWM-E(s). Details of Class notation shall be in accordance with the SPECIFICATIONS. The VESSEL shall comply with rules, regulations, recommendations and requirements of the Authorities in force as of the date of the CONTRACT signing as described and listed in the SPECIFICATIONS, together with all mandatory rules and regulations with amendments, which have already been ratified up to the date of this CONTRACT and to come into effect prior to the date of keel laying of the VESSEL.
