The survey will be written by North Xxxxxxx-NEA and given to the Board of Education for review prior to distribution. District employees will complete the survey and submit it to the NJ-NEA president by December 1. The draft plan will include an assessment timeline, the staff, student, and parent survey instrument, and a description of how the assessment will be conducted and data reviewed.
2. By April 18, 2018, and approval of the plan for school climate assessments, the District will provide OCR with documentation of the administration of the School climate assessment. The documentation will include, at a minimum, the date(s) the survey was administered, the survey results, the District’s analysis of the survey results, and the proposed responsive actions the District took or will take to remedy the school climate, if necessary, for OCR review and approval.
Climate Survey. The LMC will develop a District-wide, building by building, climate survey that will be implemented on an annual basis.
Climate Survey. The District will develop and conduct an age-appropriate climate survey to be distributed to its middle and high school students and staff as it relates to sexual harassment, including sexual assault. The information gathered in these surveys will be used to inform District actions with respect to its Title IX compliance, including whether any additional student or other training is needed to further improve the school climate. The survey will allow for respondents to answer the survey anonymously and include questions designed to gather information regarding:
1. level of perceived safety;
2. knowledge of the process by which students might make reports of sexual harassment;
3. the prevalence of sexual harassment in the School/District;
4. the willingness to report incidents of sexual harassment to District staff;

Climate Survey. By December 1, 2017, the College will develop a climate survey process (and/or review its current campus climate survey process) to be conducted annually to assess students’ attitudes and knowledge regarding harassment on the basis of race (the survey may address other bases); gather information concerning students’ experiences with harassment on the basis of race; determine whether students know when and how to report complaints of harassment on the basis of race; and the effectiveness of steps taken pursuant to this Agreement or otherwise by the College to ensure that its campus is free of harassment on the basis of race. The survey process will be conducted through the administration of a climate survey, which may be accomplished through a written or electronic survey, provided that students receiving the survey also are notified of a contact person, such as the race discrimination investigator(s), should they wish to discuss this issue in person. Additionally, the College will notify students that participation in the survey will be entirely voluntary, and that the survey will be conducted in a manner consistent with applicable law. The College will analyze the results of the climate survey process within sixty (60) days of the date it closes. The analysis will include considering recommendations to address concerns or issues identified through the climate survey, if applicable. If the College will conduct a survey the subsequent school year (2018-2019), the College may utilize the same or similar survey, provided that the survey is updated and reviewed to ensure that it remains current.
Climate Survey. Within 30 days after the University’s proposed survey is approved by OCR, , the University will conduct a climate survey to assess the effectiveness of the steps taken pursuant to this Agreement, and otherwise by the University, to achieve its goal of having a school environment free of sexual harassment. The University will send a survey to each student that contains questions about the student’s knowledge of sexual harassment policies and procedures and any experiences with sexual harassment while attending the University, and the student’s awareness of the University’s sexual harassment policies and procedures and resources available for students. Information gathered through these climate surveys will be used to inform further steps taken by the University.
