Climate Survey. 1. Section II of the survey will gather feedback from teachers and special service providers regarding the overall climate in any/all individual buildings and District-level departments which an individual is assigned. The survey will include the following three (3) open-ended questions:
Climate Survey. A district climate survey will be distributed to all employees of USD 335 prior to November 1 of each school year. The survey will be written by North Xxxxxxx-NEA and given to the Board of Education for review prior to distribution. District employees will complete the survey and submit it to the NJ-NEA president by December 1. Results will be compiled by NJ-NEA, and a summary of the survey will be given to the Board of Education before Christmas break.
Climate Survey. 11) By September 1, 2015, the District will conduct a climate survey to assess the effectiveness of the steps taken pursuant to this Agreement, and otherwise by the District, to achieve its goal of having a school environment free of sexual harassment. The District will send a survey to each student that contains questions about the parent’s and student’s knowledge of sexual harassment policies and procedures and any experiences with sexual harassment while attending school, and the student’s awareness of the District’s sexual harassment policies and procedures and resources available for students. The survey will include specific queries designed to obtain information from parents of students with disabilities about the experiences of those students in the District. Information gathered through these climate surveys will be used to inform further steps taken by the District. REPORTING REQUIREMENT: By April 15, 2015, the District will submit to OCR for approval the proposed climate survey. By September 15, 2015, the District will provide OCR the results of the survey and provide for OCR’s review and approval a description of all actions the District plans to take as a result.
Climate Survey. 3. By June 1, 2014, and annually thereafter, the District will conduct a climate survey of students in the District to assess the effectiveness of steps taken pursuant to this Resolution Agreement or otherwise by the District, to achieve its goal of a District free of harassment. Students’ participation in the survey will be voluntary. Reporting Requirement. By September 30, 2014, the District will provide OCR with documentation demonstrating implementation of the survey, including a description of how the survey was completed, copies of any student responses to surveys, summaries of other information obtained, and proposed actions, if appropriate, that the District plans to take in response to the information gathered during the survey.
Climate Survey. 4. The District will develop a climate survey for its high school students designed to: assess students’ attitudes and knowledge about harassment on the basis of sex; gather information about students’ experiences with sexual harassment; determine whether students know when and how to report sexual harassment; and assess the effectiveness of steps taken by the District to address and prevent sexual harassment. REPORTING REQUIREMENT: By , the District will provide OCR a copy of its proposed climate survey required by Item 4 of the Agreement for review and approval by OCR. Along with submitting the proposed climate survey, the District will provide a written explanation of how the District intends to distribute, collect, and utilize the results of the survey.
Climate Survey. 7. OCR will review the District’s Culture and Climate Assessment Report, prepared in November 2022, and will advise the District as to what additional areas pertaining to race harassment, if any, are to be addressed in a follow-up survey to all students and parents/guardians at Russellville [Redacted content]. OCR will review the District’s Culture and Climate Assessment Report to determine if the survey, at a minimum, addresses:
Climate Survey. 8a. By October 31, 2016, and annually thereafter, the District will conduct a “climate check” with students and staff at the School to assess the presence of and effects of disability harassment. This climate check may be accomplished through written or electronic survey, provided that students receiving the survey also are notified of a contact person, such as a counselor, should they wish to discuss this issue in person. If this method is selected, the written survey must be provided to OCR for review and approval prior to its use. Participation in the survey by students will be entirely voluntary, and the survey will be conducted in a manner consistent with applicable law.
Climate Survey. 9) Within 30 days after the University’s proposed survey is approved by OCR, , the University will conduct a climate survey to assess the effectiveness of the steps taken pursuant to this Agreement, and otherwise by the University, to achieve its goal of having a school environment free of sexual harassment. The University will send a survey to each student that contains questions about the student’s knowledge of sexual harassment policies and procedures and any experiences with sexual harassment while attending the University, and the student’s awareness of the University’s sexual harassment policies and procedures and resources available for students. Information gathered through these climate surveys will be used to inform further steps taken by the University. REPORTING REQUIREMENT: By October 15, 2015, the University will submit to OCR for approval the proposed climate survey. Within 60 days of completion of the survey, the University will provide OCR the results of the survey and provide for OCR’s review and approval a description of all actions the University plans to take as a result.
Climate Survey. A. Beginning in school year 2023-2024, the District will administer an annual school climate assessment to employees and students in grades 3-12 to evaluate the climate at each District school with respect to sex-based harassment and the extent to which the survey respondents are subjected to or witness sex-based harassment. Participation in the survey by students will be voluntary, and the survey will be conducted in a manner consistent with applicable law. The survey will inquire about the experience, knowledge, and perceptions of employees and students about the climate at each school with respect to sex-based harassment and will assess whether employees and students have sufficient information about the District’s anti-harassment policies and are able to find the appropriate resources when necessary. The District will analyze the results of the climate assessment and provide for OCR’s review and approval a proposed plan of action(s) to address all concerns identified.
Climate Survey. By April 1, 2014 and April 1, 2015, the Corporation will conduct a School climate survey to assess the effectiveness of the steps taken pursuant to this Agreement, and otherwise by the Corporation, to achieve its goal of having a school environment free of sexual harassment. The Corporation will send a survey to each School parent and to each School student that contains questions about the parent’s and student’s knowledge of sexual harassment and any experiences with sexual harassment while attending the School, and the student’s awareness of the Corporation’s sexual harassment policies and procedures and resources available for students. Information gathered through these climate surveys will be used to inform further steps taken by the Corporation and any appropriate modifications to the survey instrument. .
