Codes, Regulations, and Standards. Throughout this Statement of Work (SOW), references are made to codes, regulations, and standards. The contractor shall comply with the latest versions of these codes, regulations, and standards throughout the duration of the contract. If a question arises regarding which codes, regulations, or standards to apply to a particular order, the contractor shall seek clarification from the ordering agency prior to filling the order. The contractor and all of its personnel and subcontractors shall adhere to applicable standards in Public Law 91-596, 1926.956, 1910.146 Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), Telecommunication Standard 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910.268, the National Electric Code (NEC), (from the National Fire Protection Association NFPA 70), as well as local safety regulations for the site specified in the order. For international orders, the contractor shall adhere to the safety regulations that apply to the area under consideration or that are specified in the order. Where multiple standards are cited, the order of precedence shall be industry forum specification, IETF, followed by IEEE, followed by ANSI, followed by Telcordia, and followed by International Telecommunications Union Telecommunications Standards Section (ITU-TSS), unless otherwise specified.

Codes, Regulations, and Standards. A. The codes, regulations, and standards adopted by the state and federal agencies having jurisdiction shall govern minimum requirements for this project. Where codes, regulations, and standards conflict with the Contract Documents, these conflicts shall be brought to the immediate attention of the District and the Architect.

  • Codes and Standards Under the various sections of the specifications, where reference is made to specific codes or standards governing the installation of specified items, installation shall in all cases be in strict accordance with the referenced codes and standards. Where no reference is made to specific codes or standards, installation shall conform to the generally recognized applicable standards for first-class installation of the specific item to be installed. Contractors are expected to be proficient and skilled in their respective trades and knowledgeable of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the current edition of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) and its referenced technical codes and standards, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and other codes and standards applicable to installations and associated work by its trade and/or that are applicable to the Work.

  • RULES & REGULATIONS The Exhibitor must comply with the requirements of all Authorities and where applicable with all rules and regulations issued by the owner of the Venue in force at the time of the Exhibition.   • Compliance with Laws, Rules and Regulations Tenant, at its sole cost and expense, shall comply with all laws, ordinances, orders, rules and regulations of state, federal, municipal, or other agencies or bodies having jurisdiction over use, condition, and occupancy of the Leased Premises. Tenant must use and maintain the Leased Premises in a clean, careful, safe, and proper manner and in compliance with all Applicable Laws, including Applicable Laws pertaining to health, safety, disabled persons, and the environment; provided, however, that Tenant shall not be required to make any structural changes or repairs to the Leased Premises unless the need for such structural changes or repairs is caused by Tenant, its agents, employees, invitees, or others for whom Tenant is responsible pursuant to the terms and provisions of this Lease. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained elsewhere in this section, it is expressly agreed and understood that Tenant’s obligation to comply with all Applicable Laws does not apply to any violations of Applicable Laws that (a) were in effect and (b) were being violated or with which the Leased Premises was not in compliance immediately prior to the time Tenant accepted the Leased Premises, including without limitation any existing environmental contamination. Tenant will comply with the rules and regulations of the Leased Premises adopted by Landlord in its reasonable discretion. All such rules and regulations and changes and amendments thereto will be sent by Landlord to Tenant in writing and shall thereafter be carried out and observed by Tenant.
