COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES. The Governing Board may grant the use of school facilities to any person, group, or organization for any lawful purpose in the interest of the community including: recreational, educational, political, economic, artistic, moral, social, scientific, religious, other civic or governmental, including extended day resource programs. Such use shall not interfere with any school activity.
COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES. (L)
a. Prior to the approval of the use of regular classrooms or libraries by community groups, the affected teacher(s) shall be informed of the request for use;
b. Where a teacher raises concerns regarding the security of student or other records, classroom supplies, textbooks, or other instructional materials, or prior failure to restore facilities to their original condition after use, these concerns shall be addressed prior to the use of the facility.
COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES. 31.1 The District may allow community use of school facilities at its discretion and under its conditions.
COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES. Any student may file a discrimination grievance by using Governing Board policy 2:260, Uniform Grievance Procedure. No student shall, based on sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity be denied equal access to programs, activities, services, or benefits or be limited in the exercise of any right, privilege, advantage, or denied equal access to educational and extracurricular programs and activities. Any student may file a sex equity complaint by using Governing Board policy 2:260, Uniform Grievance Procedure. A student may appeal the Governing Board’s resolution of the complaint to the Regional Superintendent (pursuant to 105 ILCS 5/3-10) and, thereafter, to the State Superintendent of Education (pursuant to 105 ILCS 5/2-3.8).
COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES. In addition, all users will be invoiced for any damage or vandalism caused by their use of the school facilities or grounds.
COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES. The school business office will collect deposits when necessary and xxxx the user of the property on the basis of the following schedule which will be reviewed annually. These fees are in addition to custodial costs, food server costs, engineering costs and cleanup.
COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES. The rental of any school facility and/or equipment is an administrative procedure subject to the review and approval of the Board of Education. Particular attention is called to these requirements:
COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES and the Cooperative Agreement. A proposed sublease by the School Board beyond the scope of School Board Policy 7.18, shall be subject to the review and approval by FAU, which review and approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.
COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES. It is the intent of the District to make school facilities available for public use to the greatest extent possible without infringing on their primary purpose – the education of children. Where assessed, fees are not intended to profit the District but rather to defray the additional costs of public use, which should not rightly be borne by the taxpayer at large. Use of school facilities by community and other authorized groups shall not constitute an endorsement by the District of any organization or group. The District reserves the right to assess building/facility use fees, to refuse approval, or to cancel approved use of a school building or facility. Use of buildings/facilities will be denied if an organization intends to use school facilities to engage in conduct that is contrary to federal, state, or local law. Rental fees and custodial and kitchen personnel fees will be set and periodically revised by administrative regulation.
