Compliance and Safety. In providing the services set out in the schedule, the supplier must ensure that their personnel are trained, hold the appropriate licenses, comply with all laws regulations and the customer’s policies and observe health and safety standards and follow site rules for entry and conduct on site and follow the directions of the customer’s personnel whilst on site.
Compliance and Safety. The Customer will, at the Customer’s own cost:
(a) ensure that the Customer, and each member of the Customer’s Personnel, complies with:
(i) all laws applicable to the stowage, carriage, loading, unloading and delivery of the Goods including environmental laws applicable in New Zealand;
(ii) Americold's drug and alcohol policy and other policies and procedures of Americold at the Site; and
(iii) the directions of Americold and Americold Personnel in relation to health and safety.
(b) ensure that the Customer, and each member of the Customer’s Personnel, always:
(i) provide safe working conditions for all persons engaged in the performance of the Customer’s obligations under the Contract;
(ii) undertake and successfully complete any safety induction program prior to entering the Site;
(iii) take all necessary steps to be informed of all Site policies and procedures of Americold applicable at the Site;
(iv) register at the Site reception or gatehouse on entry to the Site;
(v) gain access to, enter and remain on the Site strictly for the purposes of performing the Customer’s obligations under the Contract.
(c) ensure that the Customer, and each member of the Customer’s Personnel, always comply with all laws and Good Operating Practices relating to:
(i) loading of Goods;
(ii) unloading of Goods;
(iii) mass management and weights of vehicles and loads;
(iv) securing loads on vehicles;
(v) Chain of Responsibility;
(vi) driver fatigue; and
(vii) any other matters relating to the safe driving and operation of vehicles and/or machinery.
(d) ensure that any Customer's Personnel involved in the driving and operation of vehicles or machinery obtains and maintains a current licence, permit and/or any other approvals required to:
(i) operate and control any vehicles and/or machinery used to deliver the Goods and/or perform the Services;
(ii) load the Goods; and
(iii) unload the Goods.
Compliance and Safety. 7.1 By using the app, you warrant that you are either:
7.1.1 a provider of food or food-related services that are lawful and not restricted by any laws or bylaws;
7.1.2 a licensed supplier or distributor of alcohol products that are lawful and not restricted by any laws or bylaws;
7.1.3 an authorised seller or licensed distributor of trademarked goods and services;
7.1.4 a provider of products falling within schedule 0of the Medicines and Related Substances Act, 101 of 1965, sold for general health enhancement and maintenance purposes or the relief of minor symptoms;
7.1.5 a provider with the required licence or certificate to sell certain products or services; or
7.1.6 a service provider that renders services to the public based on professional or previous work experience.
7.2 You may not use the app to:
7.2.1 advertise or sell counterfeit goods or items;
7.2.2 advertise or provide services that are not allowed by law; or
7.2.3 sell any of the following –
7.2.3.1 Illegal drugs that include cocaine, cannabis resin, LSD, narcotics, morphine, opium, or any other item listed in a schedule of the Drugs and Drug Trafficking Act, 140 of 1992.
7.2.3.2 Animals, whether alive or dead, or any animal by-products that appear on any global restricted- or sanctioned-goods list. Whether or not an animal by-product appears on a sanction list, we reserve the right to withdraw animal by-products from the app without notice to you if we consider it necessary to do so.
7.2.3.3 Weapons, including guns, gun accessories and bladed weapons, but excluding knives for ordinary home use. We reserve the right to withdraw any weapon-related products from the app without notice to you if we consider it necessary to do so.
7.2.3.4 Compressed gases, including flammable compressed gases found in blowlamps, butane, and cigarette lighters; liquefied gases that can become liquid under pressure at ambient temperatures; dissolved gases that are dissolved under pressure in a solvent; gas under pressure; permanent gases that cannot be liquefied at ambient temperatures; ethane; gas cylinders like camping gas cylinders, whether full or empty; ammonia products; and hydrogen, methane and propane.

Compliance and Safety. Strict adherence to HVAC codes, regulations, and safety protocols is paramount to ensure the safety and functionality of HVAC systems within City buildings and structures. All safety requirements must be adhered to by the Contractor and/or any subcontractors while on-site. Special License: Contractors must possess a valid HVAC license issued by the appropriate regulatory body. HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) contractors and is categorized under the C-20 classification.
Compliance and Safety. When on the University’s premises, Artist shall at all times:
(a) comply with all federal, state, and municipal laws, codes, rules, requirements, guidelines, regulations, and standards (collectively “Laws”), and (b) the University’s safety policies and procedures, copies of which are available from the University’s Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager (000) 000-0000. Artist shall take precautions to prevent injuries to self and third parties at or near the Performance site and shall draw permits and/or obtain clearance from EH&S for potentially dangerous activities prior to engaging in such activities. Pyrotechnics, candles and flammable materials are not permitted as part of the Performance.

The supplier must ensure that it’s personnel obtains prior approval from the customer’s site manager before working with hazardous materials and such personnel must be trained to work with hazardous materials and must comply with all rules, regulations and good operating practices relating to hazardous work or hazardous materials. The supplier must ensure that their personnel comply with all rules, regulations and good operating practices relating to loading, unloading and securing goods and the safe operation of vehicles, plant and equipment.
Compliance and Safety. Provider shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations, ordinances, and OSHA requirements. Provider shall take reasonable and necessary precautions to prevent injuries to its employees, the Owner, other workers, and the general public while performing Provider’s Work. If, in the opinion of SLS , Provider fails or neglects to take such precautions, then SLS may immediately terminate this Agreement upon oral or written notice to Provider and, in that event, Provider shall immediately vacate from the Project site. Provider will ensure that its employees and any of its sub-subcontractors will be free of drugs and alcohol while on the Project site. If any part of the Provider’s Work is subject to the EPA Lead-Based Paint and Renovation, Repair, and Painting Program (40 Code of Federal Regulations Part 745, Subpart E, and any amendments, substitutions, or revisions thereto; the “Regulations”), then Provider agrees to fully comply with said Regulations. Subcontractor’s failure to comply with the Regulations shall constitute a default hereunder and entitle SLS to the indemnification rights set forth herein.
Compliance and Safety. 1Supplier represents, warrants, certifies, and covenants that its performance under this Agreement, including the Materials and services provided hereunder, will comply with all applicable and then-current laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, conventions, and standards or that relate in any way to the manufacture, labeling, transportation, importation, exportation, licensing, certification, or approval of Material and/or performance of Services including, without limitation, the requisite license / registrations under the provisions of the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970, Employee Provident Fund Act, 1952, Employee State Insurance Act, 1948, Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923, those prohibiting bribery or similar payments or practices, and those related to environmental protection, import and export, duties and customs, wages, hours and conditions of employment, occupational safety, discrimination, sexual harassment, immigration, subcontractor selection, health and safety, toxic substances, hazardous materials, electrical or electronic equipment, and minority owned businesses as applicable to the Supplier, as well as with the provisions of YIL Supplier’s Code of Conduct in Annexure 1 herein.
