Contractor’s Superintendent. The Contractor shall employ a competent resident Superintendent who will be present at the Project Site during the progress of the Work. The Superintendent is subject to the approval of the ODR. The Contractor shall not change approved Superintendents during the course of the Project without the written approval of the ODR unless the Superintendent leaves the employ of the Contractor.
Contractor’s Superintendent. Maintain a competent superintendent to act as the Contractor’s agent. Provide a superintendent who is a competent superintendent capable of properly interpreting the Contract Documents and is thoroughly experienced in the type of work being performed. Provide a superintendent with the full authority to receive instructions from the Engineer and to execute the orders or directions of the Engineer, including promptly supplying any materials, tools, equipment, labor, and incidentals that may be required. Furnish such superintendence regardless of the amount of work sublet.
Contractor’s Superintendent. The Contractor shall, during working hours, until the work has been completed, keep on the site of the work a competent superintendent who has authority to receive on behalf of the Contractor any order, direction or other communication that may be given under the Contract.

Contractor shall at all times have on the work as his agent, a competent superintendent capable of thoroughly interpreting the plans and specifications and thoroughly experienced in the type of work being performed, who shall receive the instructions from the Engineer or his authorized representatives. The superintendent shall have full authority to execute the orders or directions of the Engineer and to supply promptly any materials, tools, equipment, labor and incidentals, which may be required. Such superintendence shall be furnished regardless of the amount of work sublet. Contractor’s superintendent shall speak and understand English, and at least one responsible person who speaks and understands English shall be on the project during all working hours.
Contractor’s Superintendent. During the course of the work on the site, the Contractor shall employ a competent superintendent and any necessary assistants, all satisfactory to the Consultant or the Architect/Engineer. The Superintendent shall not be changed except with the consent of the Consultant or the Architect/Engineer, unless the Superintendent proves to be unsatisfactory to the Contractor and ceased to be in his employ. The Superintendent shall represent the Contractor in his absence and all directions given by him shall be as binding as if given by the Contractor. Important decisions shall be confirmed in writing to the Contractor. Other directions shall be so confirmed on written request in each case.

The superintendent may not be changed without the consent of the City. The superintendent will represent the Contractor and all directions given by the City to the superintendent will bind the Contractor in accordance with the Agreement. Superintendent time included in Contractor’s completed bid schedule and/or in approved change orders, if any, must be included in Contractor’s approved overhead rate and may not be charged as a direct cost.

Contractor’s Superintendent. 3.3.2.1 Individual superintendent may oversee concurrent projects on campus depending on complexity, cost and location. Cases will be reviewed on an individual basis.
