Common use of Convention Leave Clause in Contracts

Convention Leave. Any employee who is a duly authorized representative of any of the organizations listed in N.J.S.A. 38:23-2 and any future amendments thereto, shall be granted a leave of absence with pay for an aggregated period, not to exceed five (5) days in any calendar year, for the purpose of traveling to and from and attending any State or National Convention of the organizations listed in the aforementioned statute.

Any employee Bargaining unit personnel who is a are duly authorized representative representatives of any of the organizations organization listed in N.J.S.A. 38:23-2 and any future amendments thereto, amendment thereto shall be granted a leave of absence with pay for an aggregated periodthe purpose of traveling to and from and attending any state or national convention of said organization, not to exceed five (5) days in any calendar year, for the purpose of traveling upon prior notice to and from and attending any State or National Convention authorization of the organizations listed in the aforementioned statuteSupervisor.
