COURSE INSTRUCTOR. Evaluations (CIEs) 6.08.01 Administration of Course Instructor Evaluations (CIEs) The faculty member teaching the class shall determine the date and time of the evaluation within the time frame available (usually the eighth through the tenth week of the quarter) for the respective quarter. The CIE shall be administered to every student in attendance at the time of the evaluation. At the faculty member’s request, CIEs may be administered multiple times during the quarter to any class that the faculty member is teaching.

COURSE INSTRUCTOR. ‌ A.1.01 Where enrolment in a credit course is above the minimum (as determined by established practice), the Course Instructor stipend shall be as follows:‌ September 1, 2019 – August 31, 2020:‌ $15,133.38 September 1, 2020 – August 31, 2021:‌ $15,284.71 September 1, 2021 – August 31, 2022:‌ $15,437.56 September 1, 2022 – August 31, 2023:‌ $15,707.71 A.1.02 Teaching Support Fund‌‌ There shall be an Annual Teaching Support Fund with a total allocation of $4.25 per student-course based on the University's CUPE total estimated undergraduate enrolment in the previous academic year. The Teaching Support Fund shall be used to provide CUPE members, who teach a course in excess of 50 students, with marking assistance and teaching support.‌ In exceptional circumstances applications to the appropriate Xxxx may be made for courses with less than 50 students. Consideration of such requests will be subject to decanal approval.‌ Course Instructors applying for marking assistance, for courses in which they have no additional support, will have the option to indicate that they would prefer to perform the marking for students in excess of 50. In this case, they will receive the CUPE Unit 1 Marker/Grader rate for the number of marking hours approved by the Xxxx.‌ There shall be three (3) competitions, one in the Fall semester for 40% of the Fund, one in the Winter semester for 40% of the Fund, and one in the Spring/Summer semester for 20% of the fund plus any surplus from the previous competitions.‌ Applications will be made by individual members to the Department/Program Chair, who will submit a consolidated request to the Xxxx on behalf of the Department/program. Applications will be made to the Department/Program Chair by no later than ten (10) working days following the commencement of the fall and winter term and one week following the commencement of the summer terms. Late applications will not be considered.‌ In any year the fund is not exhausted the remaining monies shall be added to the subsequent year’s allotment. The Union shall be provided an annual report, by April 30, on the fund which shall include the amount left in the fund at the end of each year.‌

  • Exercise Instructions Subject to the terms and conditions herein set forth, a Beneficiary shall be entitled, upon the occurrence and during the continuance of an Insolvency Event, to instruct Trustee to exercise the Exchange Right with respect to all or any part of the Exchangeable Shares registered in the name of such Beneficiary on the books of ExchangeCo. To cause the exercise of the Exchange Right by Trustee, the Beneficiary shall deliver to Trustee, in person or by certified or registered mail, at its principal corporate trust office in Vancouver, British Columbia or at such other places in Canada as Trustee may from time to time designate by written notice to the Beneficiaries, the certificates representing the Exchangeable Shares which such Beneficiary desires Parent to purchase, duly endorsed in blank for transfer, and accompanied by such other documents and instruments as may be required to effect a transfer of Exchangeable Shares under applicable laws and the constating documents of ExchangeCo and such additional documents and instruments as Trustee, Parent or ExchangeCo may reasonably require together with (a) a duly completed form of notice of exercise of the Exchange Right, contained on the reverse of or attached to the Exchangeable Share certificates, stating (i) that the Beneficiary thereby instructs Trustee to exercise the Exchange Right so as to require Parent to purchase from the Beneficiary the number of Exchangeable Shares specified therein, (ii) that such Beneficiary has good title to and owns all such Exchangeable Shares to be acquired by Parent free and clear of all liens, claims, security interests, adverse claims and encumbrances, (iii) the names in which the certificates representing Parent Common Shares issuable in connection with the exercise of the Exchange Right are to be issued, and (iv) the names and addresses of the Persons to whom such new certificates should be delivered; and (b) payment (or evidence satisfactory to Trustee, ExchangeCo and Parent of payment) of the taxes (if any) payable as contemplated by Section 5.8 of this Agreement. If only a part of the Exchangeable Shares represented by any certificate or certificates delivered to Trustee are to be purchased by Parent under the Exchange Right, a new certificate for the balance of such Exchangeable Shares shall be issued to the holder at the expense of ExchangeCo.

  • Traffic Management 9.2.1 During the Operating Period, Developer shall be responsible for the general management of traffic on the Project. Developer shall manage traffic so as to preserve and protect safety of traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities and, to the maximum extent practicable, to avoid disruption, interruption or other adverse effects on traffic flow, throughput or level of service on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities. Developer shall conduct traffic management in accordance with all applicable Technical Provisions, Technical Documents, Laws and Governmental Approvals, and in accordance with the Traffic Management Plan. 9.2.2 Developer shall prepare and submit to TxDOT and the Independent Engineer for TxDOT approval a Traffic Management Plan for managing traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities after the commencement of traffic operations on any portion of the Project, addressing (a) orderly and safe movement and diversion of traffic on Related Transportation Facilities during Project construction, (b) orderly and safe movement of traffic on the Project and (c) orderly and safe diversion of traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities necessary in connection with field maintenance and repair work or Renewal Work or in response to Incidents, Emergencies and lane closures. Developer shall prepare the Traffic Management Plan according to the schedule set forth in the Technical Provisions. The Traffic Management Plan shall comply with the Technical Provisions and Technical Documents concerning traffic management and traffic operations. Developer shall carry out all traffic management during the Term in accordance with the approved Traffic Management Plan. 9.2.3 Developer shall implement the Traffic Management Plan to promote safe and efficient operation of the Project and Related Transportation Facilities at all times during the course of any construction or operation of the Project and during the Utility Adjustment Work. 9.2.4 TxDOT shall have at all times, without obligation or liability to Developer, the right 9.2.4.1 Issue Directive Letters to Developer regarding traffic management 9.2.4.2 Provide on the Project, via message signs or other means consistent with Good Industry Practice, non-Discriminatory traveler and driver information, and other public information (e.g. amber alerts), provided that the means to disseminate such information does not materially interfere with the functioning of the ETCS.

  • Network Management 56.1 CLEC and CenturyLink will exchange appropriate information (e.g., network information, maintenance contact numbers, escalation procedures, and information required to comply with requirements of law enforcement and national security agencies) for network management purposes. In addition, the Parties will apply sound network management principles to alleviate or to prevent traffic congestion and to minimize fraud associated with third number billed calls, calling card calls, and other services related to this Agreement. 56.2 The Parties will employ characteristics and methods of operation that will not interfere with or impair the Parties’ networks, or the network of any third parties or Affiliated companies, connected with or involved directly in the network or facilities of CenturyLink. 56.3 CLEC shall not interfere with or impair service over any circuits, facilities or equipment of CenturyLink, its Affiliated companies, or its connecting and concurring carriers. 56.4 If CLEC causes any impairment or interference, CenturyLink shall promptly notify CLEC of the nature and location of the problem and that, unless promptly rectified, a temporary discontinuance of the use of any circuit, facility or equipment may be required. The Parties agree to work together to attempt to promptly resolve the impairment or interference. If CLEC is unable to promptly remedy, then CenturyLink may, at its option, temporarily discontinue the use of the affected circuit, facility or equipment until the impairment is remedied. 56.5 Any violation of Applicable Law or regulation regarding the invasion of privacy of any communications carried over CenturyLink’s facilities, or that creates hazards to the employees of CenturyLink or to the public, is also considered an impairment of service. 56.6 CenturyLink shall give advanced notice to CLEC of all non-scheduled maintenance or other planned network activities to be performed by CenturyLink on any Network Element, including any hardware, equipment, software, or system, providing service functionality of which CLEC has advised CenturyLink may potentially impact CLEC End Users. 56.7 The Parties shall provide notice of network changes and upgrades in accordance with 47 C.F.R. §§51.325 through 51.335. CenturyLink may discontinue any Interconnection arrangement, Telecommunications Service, or Network Element provided or required hereunder due to network changes or upgrades after providing CLEC notice as required by this Section. CenturyLink agrees to cooperate with CLEC and/or the appropriate regulatory body in any transition resulting from such discontinuation of service and to minimize the impact to customers which may result from such discontinuance of service.

  • Form of Instruction Each Instruction shall be transmitted by such secured or authenticated electro-mechanical means as the Custodian shall make available to the Fund from time to time unless the Fund shall elect to transmit such Instruction in accordance with Subsections 4.2.1 through 4.2.3 of this Section.
