CPI. If the CPI increase exceeds three percent (3%) then the Employer shall pay employees at top rate in Production Clerk and Specialty Department Clerk classifications one half cent ($0.005) per hour paid for each one-third of one percent (0.333%) that the CPI increase exceeds three percent (3%). In all other classifications, the Employer shall pay employees at top rate of their classification one cent ($0.01) per hour paid for each one-third of one percent (0.333%) that the CPI increase exceeds three percent (3%). Hours paid shall mean the hours paid in the fifty-two (52) weeks prior to March 28, 2004. The above calculation shall also be made in April, 2005; April, 2006; April, 2007; April, 2008, as follows: April, 2005 March, 2005 vs. March, 2004 52 weeks prior to March 27, 2005 April, 2006 March, 2006 vs. March, 2005 52 weeks prior to April 2, 2006 April, 2007 March, 2007 vs. March, 2006 52 weeks prior to April 1, 2007 April, 2008 March, 2008 vs. March, 2007 52 weeks prior to March 30, 2008 *B.C. CPI. In addition to any other adjustment permitted or contemplated herein, IXC has the right to make adjustments to the fees and charges hereunder on each anniversary of the expiration of the Closing Date (the "Adjustment Date") by multiplying the applicable fee or charge for the immediately preceding twelve (12) month period (the "Prior Period") by a factor equal to one (1) plus or minus the decimal equivalent of the total percentage change, if any, in the U.S. Department of Labor Price Index for Urban Consumers, All Items, 1982-84 = 100 for the period from three (3) months prior to the commencement of such Prior Period to three (3) months prior to the Adjustment Date. IXC shall deliver to PSINet prior to each Adjustment Date notice of the adjustment in the applicable fee or charge, setting forth the calculation of such adjustment.
CPI. The term “CPI” means the Consumer Price Index-U.S. City Averages for all Urban Consumers - All Items (1982-84=100), of the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics. If the CPI shall become unavailable to the public because publication is discontinued, or otherwise, Landlord will substitute therefor a reasonably comparable index based upon changes in the cost of living or purchasing power of the consumer dollar published by any other governmental agency or, if no such index shall be available then a reasonably comparable index published by a major bank or other financial institution.
CPI. “CPI” means the Consumer Price Index (All Cities – All Items) (1982-84 = 100) or if such index is discontinued, the most comparable index of the prevailing rate of inflation for the jurisdiction in which the Hotel is situated as determined by the relevant Governmental Authority responsible for official economic statistics;
CPI. With effect from 1 July each year, the licence fees referred to in Schedule 3 and expressed in dollars will be increased in accordance with the increase, if any, in the CPI over the 2 preceding June Quarters and rounded to the nearest dollar.
CPI. A percentage of the Base Annual Rent equal to the percent stipulated in section 1.5(c) of the percentage increase in the Index now known as "United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers," (CPI-W) for Washington, DC-MD-VA, all items Index (1982-84=100) (hereinafter referred to as the "Index"), between the last published Index published for each calendar year and the Index for the same period in the year stipulated in Section 1.5(c) (hereinafter "base period"). If such Index shall be discontinued or revised without substitution of a comparable successor Index, the parties shall attempt to agree upon a substitute formula. If the parties are unable to agree upon a substitute formula, then the matter shall be determined by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association then prevailing. Any substitute formula determined by arbitration shall include all of the same items included in the Index effective at the execution of this Lease and shall be so designed as to achieve a result as close as possible to the result that would have been achieved if the discontinued Index were available. Costs of any such arbitration shall be shared equally by Tenant and Landlord.
CPI. The Consumer Price Index, all urban consumers, all items, U.S. City Average, published by the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, in which 1982‑1984 equals one hundred (100). If the Consumer Price Index is discontinued or revised during the term of this Lease, such other governmental index or computation with which it is replaced shall be used in order to obtain substantially the same result as would be obtained if the Index had not been discontinued or revised.
CPI. The term "CPI" shall mean the Revised Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States Department of Labor, for United States City Average, All Items (1982-84 = 100). If the manner in which the CPI is calculated shall be substantially revised ERPT and the Executive shall select a means to adjust such revised Index, which would produce results equivalent, as practicable, to those, which would have been obtained if the CPI has not been so revised. If the 1982-84 average shall no longer be used as an index of 100, such change shall constitute a substantial revision. If the CPI shall become unavailable to the public because publication is discontinued, or otherwise, ERPT and the Executive shall select a comparable substitute index based upon changes in the cost of living or purchasing power of the consumer dollar published by any other governmental agency, or, if no such index shall then be available, a comparable index published by a major bank or other financial institution or by a university or a recognized financial publication. In the event that the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, changes the publication frequency of the CPI so that a CPI is not available to make an adjustment for the period in question, the adjustment shall be based on the percentage increase in the CPI for the twelve (12) month period beginning with the closest month preceding the period in question for which a CPI is available.
CPI. CPI" means the Consumer Price Indexes for all Urban Consumers and Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers, U.S. City Average (1967 = 100) using the table entitled, "All Urban Consumers," issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, commonly referred to as Consumer Price Index. If the publication of the CPI is discontinued or its format changed, the Landlord shall select a regularly published index which in the Landlord's reasonable judgment most closely parallels the CPI, and such index shall then be used in place of the CPI.
CPI. DXC Connect may revise its charges each 12 months but such variations will not exceed the changes in the Australian Consumer Price Index (CPI) – All Groups.
