Common use of Credit for Outside Teaching Experience Clause in Contracts

Credit for Outside Teaching Experience. All Teachers shall receive full credit on the salary schedule for outside teaching experience up to a maximum of ten (10) years. No Teacher shall be given salary schedule credit in excess of that authorized by this schedule. The Executive Director of Human Resources shall evaluate the experience of all Teachers who have had teaching experience outside the School Corporation. Credit, as provided above, for outside teaching experience shall be given for salary computation providing such experience has been comparable to the kind and type of teaching done in the South Bend Community Schools.
