Crib Breaks. Unless the period of overtime is less than one hour, an employee before starting overtime after working ordinary hours shall be allowed a crib break of twenty minutes, counted as time worked. An employee working overtime Saturday, Sunday or week day; shall be allowed a crib break of twenty minutes without loss of pay after each four hours of overtime worked if the employee is to continue to work beyond such crib time. The Company and employees may agree to any variation of the crib time provision to meet the circumstances of the work providing that the employer shall not be required to make any payment in excess of the time allowed and at the appropriate rate in accordance with this clause.
