Daily/Weekly Work Schedules. Subject to the provisions of Section 11.7, the normal workday for full-time employees will be eight hours per day and 40 hours per workweek, Monday through Friday, but it is understood that employees may be required to work longer hours on some days as well as to work and/or be on call other hours and/or days. The work week will begin at 12:01 a.m. Sunday and end at 12:00 p.m.
Daily/Weekly Work Schedules. The work week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday. Daily and weekly work schedules are determined by each supervisor to fit the needs of the department. Full time employees are normally scheduled to work 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week. Working hours are generally between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Additional shifts may be established by the College to meet its needs. Daily and weekly work schedules may be changed by the College from time to time as may be necessary to meet the needs of the College. The College agrees to provide 30 days advance notice to the impacted employee for all permanent changes in an employee’s work schedule. Before permanently altering the starting and ending time of a daily work shift, the supervisor will discuss the rationale for the change and the preferences of the employee, and attempt to make reasonable accommodations to the employee’s preferences. The final decision on changing an employee's work schedule will be given in writing. Employees shall have the right to submit to his/her supervisor a proposed change in his/her work schedule. The College may make immediate temporary staffing changes in an employee’s work schedule due to unforeseen circumstances, such as but not limited to, medical emergencies or abrupt changes in staffing. Temporary changes may last up to a month and may be made without advance notice. If a temporary change lasts more than a month, the employee and supervisor shall discuss any continuing temporary adjustments.

  • Four Day Work Week Schedule i. When working under the four (4) day work week schedule, Employees shall be paid at double time (2x) the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the regular ten (10) hours per day Monday through Thursday.

  • Five Day Work Week Schedule When working under the five (5) day work week schedule, Employees shall receive one and one-half (1.5x) times their regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours of overtime Monday through Friday. All other overtime Monday through Friday shall be paid at double time (2x).

  • NORMAL WORK SCHEDULES 112. Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, a “normal work day” is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours completed within not more than nine (9) hours. The normal work week for employees covered by this agreement is 40 hours.

  • Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the work schedules meet federal and state laws.

  • Regular Work Schedules The regular work schedule for overtime-eligible employees will not be more than forty (40) hours in a workweek, with two (2) consecutive calendar days off and starting and ending times as determined by the requirements of the position and the Employer. The Employer may adjust the regular work schedule with prior notice to the employee.

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).

  • Four Day Work Week 26 1. If a holiday falls on an employee's first or second scheduled day 27 off, the preceding work day will be observed as that employee's holiday, or the 28 employee may choose to bank the holiday leave hours.

  • Alternate Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established for overtime-eligible employees by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the alternate work schedules meet federal and state law. When there is a holiday, employees may be required to switch from their alternate work schedules to regular work schedules.

  • Flexible Work Schedules (a) Academic Professional staff members throughout the University may have, as indicated below, flexible work schedules. For example, Academic Professionals often travel on University business and/or work evenings and weekends. A flexible work schedule is defined as having established working hours different from the standard 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday schedule, to be followed by an employee for an agreed upon period of time.

  • HOURS OF WORK AND WORK SCHEDULES 22.01 Except for employees subject to a particular work schedule according to clause 22.10, the duration of the regular work week is established at thirty-five (35) hours generally worked between 9:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday.
