Definition of Hours. The hour limitation specified for eligibility in the above insurance coverage shall mean hours regularly scheduled.
Definition of Hours. Hours that accrue earned leave include regular, overtime, 10 education, earned leave, dock/dock standby, call-back, compassionate leave, and jury 11 duty. Earned leave accrues on a maximum of eighty (80) hours per pay period. 13 Section 3. A nurse may accrue up to a maximum of five hundred (500) hours of 14 earned leave. 16 Section 4. A nurse may request a cash-out of earned leave. Requests must be 17 for a minimum of four (4) hours and will be paid on regular paydays. Cash-outs of 18 earned leave will be paid at step wage plus applicable shift differential (based on the 19 nurse’s regular shift schedule as designated by personnel file) and do not accrue EL.
