Common use of Delegates Clause in Contracts

Delegates. a. The employer recognises that the delegates of the Unions party to this agreement are the authorised representatives of Union members and that their role as delegate includes recruitment of members, education, attendance at meetings, negotiations and consultative forums. b. Employees shall have reasonable access to New Zealand Nurses Organisation and Etu delegates to discuss work related matters upon request. c. All new employees shall be introduced to the Union delegates as part of their induction to the organisation. The delegates shall be provided with reasonable time to introduce themselves to the employee and provide the employee with relevant information.
