Description of Professional Ranks. Full Professor--These persons greatly exceed the usual expectations in their total contributions to teach and to the college They are outstanding in their ability to present material in an understanding, professional, and intellectually stimulating way, while at the same time maintaining an atmosphere in the class which is most conducive to learning. They constantly evaluate their methods of teaching and seek new and different approaches to instruction. They are involved in the total commitment of the college and actively participate in the business of the college through committee participation and faculty meetings. They are very much involved in the functioning and the improvement of the college. They are recognized leaders and actively assist others in increasing their levels of performance. Normally, they also make contributions outside of the college by serving on boards and committees, acting as speakers or resource persons and/or they provide leadership to education and their discipline through writing, research, and serving on committees. Associate Professor--These persons exceed the usual expectations in their total contributions to teaching and to the college. They are exceeding the usual norms in their ability to present material in an understanding, professional, and intellectually stimulating way, while at the same time maintaining an atmosphere in the class which is conducive to learning. They constantly evaluate their methods of teaching and seek new and different approaches to instruction. They are involved in the total commitment of the college and actively participate in the business of their division and college. They are gaining recognition as leaders within the college and show the potential for further developing this ability. Normally, they also make significant contributions to the community and to their profession. Assistant Professor--The persons holding this rank have exhibited development in various areas of professional growth. Because of this, they have achieved a level of teaching proficiency beyond that of the instructor. Assistant professors have begun to make real contributions to the institution through productive committee work, work with student associations, and more effective professional relationships with their fellow educators.   • Provision of Professional Services We will provide any Professional Services set out in a relevant Order Form in a professional and workmanlike manner, using reasonable skill and care in accordance with industry practice and any relevant SOW. Where it is necessary for Us or Our Group to visit your sites in order to perform Professional Services you shall at no cost to Us or Our Group: (a) provide reasonable access to any relevant sites at times to be agreed; (b) inform Us of health and safety, and security policies applicable at the sites; (c) ensure the sites are safe;

  • Description of Program This Agreement is established to facilitate an exchange program at the partner institution with students, faculty and researchers from each institution (collectively, the “Exchange Program”). The student exchange program enables students from one university to take classes at the other university while working towards a degree at the university where he or she is formally enrolled (individually, the “Student Exchange”) and to encourage faculty members and researchers from each university to visit the other university and engage in certain activities (individually, the “Faculty/Researcher Exchange”).
