Digitization Sample Clauses

Digitization. The Contractor undertakes to provide such data and metrics through the use of automated tools and technology that the Company may require to be used, presenting such data in a style, format, manner or frequency as desired by the Company. Wherever the Company mandates the use of digitized tools for managing the performance of Services under this Amendment (“the GDC Program”), the Contractor shall consider the same and upon mutual agreement commits to purchase and use such tools. In order to encourage use of tools, wherever possible in its discretion, the Company will support and facilitate the purchase and development of such tools.

Digitization. Section 1.3 of the Agreement shall be deleted and replaced with the following: “1.3 ‘Digitize’ means to convert a work from a hard copy (including microform) format into an electronic representation, using any means and any technology, whether now known or hereafter developed, including making necessary technical adaptations to achieve such conversion (but not including adapting or altering the content of such written work). ‘Digitization,’ ‘Digitizing’ and ‘Digitized’ have corresponding meanings.”
Digitization. The Manager will support the GEPB in all phases of implementation and operation of a port community service system. The Manager’s TOS shall be directly linked to the port community service system and the GEPB’s management information system through appropriate interfaces and shall provide amongst others, a state-of-the-art terminal operating system capable of digitizing all operative and administrative cycles of the terminal management and operation, including automated gates, yard operation, quay-side operations, etc. Minimum Standard Navis N4 or equivalent.
Digitization. It is understood that the materials described in this agreement will be digitized by the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center and/or Internet Archive located in the Louis Round Xxxxxx Library on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus. The resulting digital images may be published online on a publicly available website. If requested, the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center will provide copies of the scans to the Lender when the materials are returned. The UNC-Chapel Hill University Library will not be responsible for the long-term maintenance and migration of the digital files created from this material. The North Carolina Digital Heritage Center reserves the right to refuse to digitize any material when, in the opinion of the Center staff, doing so would result in irreparable harm to the item.
Digitization. SPECIFICATIONS A) C&O/NPS will produce the Digital Materials at such other specifications as the parties may agree in writing in a Project Plan. B) NARA and C&O/NPS will ensure that sufficient technical and functional metadata is created to meet mutually agreed upon standards. This metadata must, at minimum, reflect the various components of the archival hierarchy down to the file unit level (i.e., folder, or equivalent). The specific nature of this metadata will be agreed upon in the Project Plan. C) All use of the Archival Materials must take place at the NARA location set forth in the applicable Project Plan. Details of the on-site scanning or other method of digitization, including but not limited to hours during which C&O/NPS may have access to the Archival Materials, will be agreed to between the parties in each Project Plan. To ensure public access to these records, NARA reserves the right to interrupt the project for short periods of time to make copies and otherwise provide reference service to the public.
Digitization. Scanning and digitizing technology is a very promising method for reformatting and storage of various types of library research materials. However, the technology is relatively new and its commercial applications are changing rapidly. As a result no production standards have yet emerged that can reasonably guarantee the suitability of laser disks--optical, video or audio--for long-term storage of information. Until such standards are developed and adopted by a recognized body, the Discretionary Grant Program will not fund the reformatting of informational materials by digitization.

Digitization. Digitization of photographic plates leads to accurate astrometric data by using modern digitizing machine and accurate stellar catalogues. The DAMIAN digitizing machine at the Royal Observatory of Belgium allowed us to measure 440 USNO plates (1969-1997) of Mars satellites and 617 plates (1974- 1999) of the Saturn satellites from USNO (X. Xxxxx, private comm.) and 384 plates (1926- 1945) of the Saturnian satellites from SAO, South Africa. The next step will be the digitization of other plates, such as those available in European observatories.
Digitization. Thus, the initial array of the model consists of three SDs and nine SIs (see Table 1). Table 1 - General architecture of the SNF model showing the three Sustainability Dimensions (SDs) and the corresponding Sustainability Items (SIs) considered by each of them. Digitization. The scope of the SNF can be customized according to the sustainability priorities of the NPL, by selecting those SIs that are significant within each of the three sustainability dimensions considered. Therefore, some SIs can be found relevant and others can be discarded (see example in Annex A).
