Disappearance or Death of a Child Leave. An employee shall receive Disappearance or Death of a Child Leave without pay for up to fifty-two (52) weeks if they are a parent of a child, under the age of eighteen (18), who has disappeared as a result of a crime. If the child has died as a result of a crime, the employee is entitled to take a leave of up to one hundred and four (104) weeks, subject to the following:

Disappearance or Death of a Child Leave. 1. Employees with more than thirty (30) days’ employment are entitled to leave without pay related to the death or disappearance of a child. Such leaves shall be in accordance with The Employment Standards Code which terms include but are not limited to the following provisions.

  • Death The Executive’s employment hereunder shall terminate upon his death.

  • Vendor’s Termination If TIPS fails to materially perform pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, Vendor shall provide written notice to TIPS specifying the default (“Notice of Default”). If TIPS does not cure such default within thirty (30) days, Vendor may terminate this Agreement, in whole or in part, for cause. If Vendor terminates this Agreement for cause, and it is later determined that the termination for cause was wrongful, the termination shall automatically be converted to and treated as a termination for convenience.
