Dismissal or Suspension Grievance. (a) In the case of a dispute arising from an employee's dismissaldischarge or suspension of five days or greater, the a grievance may be filed directly in writing at arbitration Step 3 of the grievance procedure within thirty (30) 10 calendar days of the date on which the dismissal or suspension occurred, or within thirty (30) 10 calendar days of the employee receiving notice of dismissal. (b) In the case of a dispute arising from an employee's dismissal or suspension, the grievance may commence at Step 2 of the grievance procedure within thirty (30) days of the date on which the suspension occurred, or within thirty (30) days of the employee receiving notice of suspensionwhichever occurs later.
