District Stipend. Effective July 1, 2000, unit members who achieve certification through the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards will receive an annual stipend of $2,000. This annual stipend shall be incorporated into the base pay, and will be prorated for unit members employed less than full time.

District Stipend. The District shall pay unit members who present evidence of certification through the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards (“NBPTS”) or the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate (“ASHA”), or an equivalent professional certification that is related to but not otherwise required by their position, an annual stipend of two thousand dollars ($2,000). This annual stipend will be incorporated into the base pay, and will be prorated for unit members employed less than full-time.
