DISTRICT ALLOWANCE. 38.1 This clause shall apply to employees covered by the District Allowance (Government Officers) General Agreement 2010.
38.2 Clauses 38.3 to 38.6 of this General Agreement replace clauses 9.1.4 and 9.1.5 of the District Allowance (Government Officers) General Agreement 2010 respectively.
38.3 When an officer is on approved annual leave, the officer shall for the period of such leave, be paid the District Allowance to which the employee would ordinarily be entitled.
38.4 When an officer is on approved personal leave or bereavement leave, the officer shall for the period of such leave, be paid the District Allowance to which the employee would ordinarily be entitled to a maximum of two weeks unless the officer, officer's dependant/s or partial dependant/s remain in the District. Where the officer, officer's dependant/s or partial dependant/s remain in the District the District Allowance will continue to be paid.
38.5 Notwithstanding clause 38.4, an employer may approve payment of a District Allowance for an employee on approved personal leave in excess of two weeks where the employer considers the payment being justified by the circumstances.
38.6 Except as otherwise provided in this clause, when an officer is on long service leave or other approved leave with pay the officer shall only be paid District Allowance for the period of such leave if the officer, dependant/s or partial dependant/s remain in the district in which the officer's headquarters are situated.
38.7 The parties agree that any increase to district allowance rates resulting from negotiations between the Government and public sector unions, including the Civil Service Association, for a replacement for the District Allowance (Government Officers) General Agreement 2010 will be payable as per that replacement District Allowance General Agreement.
DISTRICT ALLOWANCE. The provisions of the District Allowance (Government Officers) General Agreement 2010 shall apply to practitioners employed under this Agreement.
DISTRICT ALLOWANCE. The terms of the District Allowance (Government Wages Employees) General Agreement 2010 or its replacement apply.
DISTRICT ALLOWANCE. An employee who lives and works within a prescribed remote locality shall be paid a District Allowance as advised by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations that reflects the conditions attached to the locality.
DISTRICT ALLOWANCE. The terms of the District Allowance (Government Wages Employees) General Agreement 2010 or any agreement that amends or replaces that agreement will apply as if those terms were express terms of this Agreement.
DISTRICT ALLOWANCE. An employee is entitled to a district allowance in accordance with:
DISTRICT ALLOWANCE. (a) If you are an ongoing employee, and eligible under clause 26.2, a district allowance will be paid on a pro rata basis each fortnight (refer Column 3 of Tables 5 and 6).
(b) If you work part-time, you will receive pro rata payment of the district allowance based on your agreed weekly hours.
(c) You will continue to be paid the district allowance for the period of any recreation leave taken, provided that you remain eligible to be paid the district allowance on the day immediately before the recreation leave commences. This applies to a period of recreation leave irrespective of the place of residence during the leave period.
(d) You will not receive district allowance when receiving travel allowance for a period when you are temporarily stationed in a locality for which district allowance would otherwise be payable. If the secretary considers that there are special circumstances, the travel allowance payable to you for that period may be increased.
(e) The district allowance rates will be reviewed periodically and amended taking account of the suggested rates in the relevant subscription service.
DISTRICT ALLOWANCE. 5.8.1 Employees eligible for a District Allowance under the provisions of the District Allowance (Government Wages Employees) General Agreement 2010 shall be paid the relevant district allowance at the applicable rate as varied from time to time by Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety Circular to Departments or Authorities.

DISTRICT ALLOWANCE. The rates expressed in subclause 5.8.1 are varied from time to time and notified by Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety Circular to Departments or Authorities and adjusted administratively by PTA Industrial Circular.
