Document Maintenance, Grievances. (A) Using its previously established verbal complaint logging and tracking system, the Contractor shall log all oral Grievances and include the following: (1) date the Grievance was received; (2) date and method of acknowledgement (orally or in writing); (3) name of the person taking the Grievance; (4) date of resolution and summary of the resolution; (5) name of person resolving the Grievance; and (6) date the Enrollee was notified of the resolution and how the Enrollee was notified (either orally or in writing). If the Enrollee was notified of the disposition in writing, the Contractor shall maintain a copy of the written notification. (B) The Contractor shall maintain all written Grievances and copies of the written notices of resolution to the affected parties.

  • Processing Grievances The Association Representative involved and the grieving supervisor shall not leave work or disrupt departmental routine to discuss grievances without first requesting permission from his/her immediate superior, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Association Representative and the grieving supervisor shall be allowed a reasonable amount of time during working hours while on the Appointing Authority's premises when a grievance is investigated or presented in Steps 1 and 2.

  • Group Grievance Where a number of employees have identical grievances and each employee would be entitled to grieve separately they may present a group grievance in writing signed by each employee who is grieving to the Administrator or her designate within ten (10) days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance have occurred or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employee(s). The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step No. 1 and the applicable provisions of this Article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance.

  • Union Grievances 4/8/1 Union officers and grievance representatives who are members of the bargaining unit shall have the right to file and process a grievance when any provision of this Agreement has been violated or when the Employer interpretation of the terms and provisions of this Agreement lead to a controversy with the Union over application of the terms or provisions of this Agreement. (C) A Policy Grievance is a grievance by the Union which may involve a matter of general policy or general application of the Collective Agreement. (D) A Union Grievance is a grievance which directly affects the Union. (E) An Employer Grievance is a grievance initiated by the Employer.

  • Settlement of Grievances The applicable procedures of this Agreement shall be followed for the settlement of all grievances. All grievances shall be considered carefully and processed promptly.

  • Policy Grievance – Union Grievance The Union may institute a grievance alleging a general misinterpretation or violation of this Agreement by the Employer by submitting a written grievance at Step No. 1 within twenty (20) days after the circumstances have occurred. This section shall not apply to disciplinary grievances or application of competitive clauses under this Agreement.
