Driver’s Abstract. If an employee is required by the Region to drive his/her personal vehicle on Region business, or to operate Regional vehicles or equipment, the employee shall provide a driver’s licence abstract from the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario at the time of hire and then at least once per year. The Region shall pay the cost of the yearly driver’s licence abstract.
Driver’s Abstract a) Employees who are Bus Drivers shall provide to the Employer a release enabling the Employer to obtain a driver abstract when required by the Employer; and
b) For Employees who do not provide the release as required by 49.4(a), it is a condition of employment for bus drivers that a Driver’s Abstract be provided to the Manager of Transportation by each driver within seven (7) days of commencement of operations in each school year. Failure to provide this driving record in a timely fashion with full and accurate information may result in disciplinary action being taken by the Employer.
Driver’s Abstract. All employees agree to provide a letter of permission to the Company to obtain a copy of their drivers abstract once per year.

Maintenance of a DZ license in Good Standing is a condition of employment.

Approval will not be unreasonably withheld. Such traded shifts must be within the same pay period and result in no increased costs to the Employer. Employees eligible for benefits will have provided bus passes arranged through the Employer. In the event that will provide additional bus passes, the Employer will distribute these passes to eligible staff. Any new bus pass provisions offered by to eligible employees, or their families, will be made available through the Employer.
