E. JURY DUTY. 112. An employee shall be provided leave with pay on a work day when the employee serves jury duty, provided the employee gives prior notice of the jury duty to the supervisor.

E. JURY DUTY. 100. An employee shall be excused from work on a work day on which she/he performs jury services, providing she/he gives prior notification to her/his supervisor.
E. JURY DUTY. The District agrees to provide a leave of absence for an Employee summoned to jury duty. or subpoenaed by the District as a court witness. An employee who is called for service on a jury, shall not suffer any loss of pay or benefits. Any difference between the jury fee and the Employee’s regular day’s pay will be compensated by the District. The employee shall remit to the Xxxxxx School District any fee received for jury duty, excluding reimbursement for mileage, meals and lodging. Active employees called by the District to serve as a witness in court or administrative proceeding shall suffer no loss of pay or benefits, and the time served in such capacity by the employee shall be considered as hours worked.
E. JURY DUTY. 17 1. Nurses may attend jury duty in accordance with their legal obligations 18 to do so. Nurses will be granted a leave of absence for this purpose 19 provided that they give SHS reasonable advance notice of their 20 obligation to serve.

  • Jury Duty 31.1 An employee who is summoned for jury duty and is required to lose time from his assignment as a result thereof, shall be paid for actual time lost with a maximum of one basic day's pay at the straight time rate of his position for each day lost, less the amount allowed him for jury duty for each such day excluding allowances paid by the court for meals, lodging or transportation, subject to the following requirements and limitations:

  • Law, Venue 19.1. This Agreement has been executed and delivered in the State of California and the validity, enforceability and interpretation of any of the clauses of this Agreement shall be determined and governed by the laws of the State of California.

  • Controlling Law; Venue The parties agree that California law will govern any dispute related to this Contract, and any litigation arising out of the Contract shall be conducted in courts located in Ventura County, California.

  • CHOICE OF LAW, JURISDICTION, AND VENUE Colorado law, and rules and regulations issued pursuant thereto, shall be applied in the interpretation, execution, and enforcement of this Contract. Any provision included or incorporated herein by reference which conflicts with said laws, rules, and regulations shall be null and void. All suits or actions related to this Contract shall be filed and proceedings held in the State of Colorado and exclusive venue shall be in the City and County of Denver.
