TIME OFF FOR GRIEVANCE. If an employee desires the assistance of a representative of the Association in the processing of a grievance, the City agrees to permit one (1) Association representative and any coworkers who may reasonably be needed in the processing of the grievance, reasonable time off during regular work hours, without loss of compensation or other benefits for this purpose. The grievant and/or authorized representative shall obtain the approval of their immediate supervisor or other authorized departmental supervisor before leaving their duty or work station or assignment for the purpose of processing a grievance.

TIME OFF FOR GRIEVANCE. The Employer agrees that where a Union xxxxxxx, a member of the Grievance Committee, a witness, or an aggrieved employee leaves his work to deal with a grievance, or to attend an arbitration, in accordance with this agreement, he shall suffer no loss of pay for the time so spent. It is understood that employees have job-related responsibilities during working hours and will therefore not leave the workplace or assigned work station except as provided in this Agreement.

  • Formal Grievance Step 1 6

  • Company Grievance It is understood that the Company may request a meeting with the Union for the purpose of presenting any complaints with respect to the conduct of the Union. If such a complaint by the Company is not settled, it may be submitted in writing as a grievance at Step 3 and may be referred to arbitration.

  • Employee Grievance If an employee considers there has been a significant change to the job content of the position held, the employee may initiate a grievance by using Step 1 of the Grievance Procedure. If the issue is not resolved at this step, the Job Classification Review Procedure of Article 22.02(B) above shall be utilized.

  • Grievance A grievance is an alleged violation, misinterpretation, or misapplication of the terms of the negotiated agreement between the Board and the Association.

  • Year-End Grievance In the event a grievance is filed at such time that it cannot be processed through all steps in this grievance procedure by the end of the school year and, if left unresolved until the beginning of the following school year, could result in irreparable harm to a party in interest, the time limits set forth herein shall be reduced so that the grievance procedure may be exhausted prior to the end of the school year or within a maximum of 30 days thereafter. Reduction of the time limit shall be with mutual consent.
