Clinical problems presented to the students in the clinical setting and in the study groups need explanations in terms of underlying psychological, social and cultural processes and mechanisms. Applied knowledge in social and behavioural sciences is used to explain clinical findings and phenomena and to underpin decisions on diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of oral diseases. Throughout the entire educational process, the student´s personal development towards a professional therapeutic attitude is supported. This implies supporting an understanding based on empathic capability, on a willingness on behalf of the student to introspection or quality-assessment of their own behaviour, and a willingness to engage in group activities for sharing and supporting the personal development of fellow students.

Related to Educational Approaches

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.

  • Teams One team for the purposes of the Event shall consist of one Vehicle. Each Vehicle can contain a maximum of one Team Member, provided such Team Member has entered into a Team Entry Agreement with the Company or has otherwise agreed in writing to participate in the Event upon and subject to the Terms of Entry and the Event Rules. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the sole responsibility of each Team to inform themselves of the maximum numbers of persons legally permitted to travel in the Vehicle under Relevant Law.
