Educational Funds. ‌ Any educational funds CONTRACTOR receives from an LEA for educational costs shall be used solely for educational costs and not for costs of a residential program (Ed. Code § 56366.5). CONTRACTOR shall maintain records which accurately account for receipt and expenditure of funds received for educational costs.

Educational Funds. The Hospital will provide up to $15,000 in each calendar year ($18,000 effective January 1, 2012) for assistance in paying for registration fees, required materials, travel, meals, lodging and parking in conjunction with educational courses for regular nurses and for on-call nurses who have worked at least 400 hours for the Hospital in the preceding twelve months. One-quarter (1/4) of the annual amount specified in the preceding sentence will be allocated to each calendar quarter of that year. Any part of such quarterly amount not used for a calendar quarter will be carried over to the next calendar quarter, except that there will be no carryover to the next calendar year. A regular nurse will be eligible for a maximum of $300 per year. If any part of the above annual amount remains undistributed at the end of the calendar year, individual nurses’ expenses in excess of their individual maximums will be reimbursed on an equitable basis up to the annual amount, provided however that no nurse will be reimbursed more than $800.

A regular nurse will be eligible for a maximum of $300$450 per year12-month period. If any part of the above annual amount remains undistributed at the end of the calendar year12-month period, individual nurses’ who apply for expenses in excess of their individual maximums ($450) will be reimbursed on an equitable basis up tothe annual amount, provided however that no nurse will be reimbursed more than an additional $800 $650 annually. No nurse will receive more than $1,100 in education funds annually. For the one-time 18-month period running from January 1, 2017 through May 31, 2018, all remaining amounts, including Sections A.1 and A.2 and the limits on any remaining undistributed funds will be increased by fifty percent (50%).

One-quarter (1/4) of the annual amount 19 specified in the preceding sentence will be allocated to each calendar quarter of that 12- 20 month period. Any part of such quarterly amount not used for a quarter will be carried 21 over to the next quarter, except that there will be no carryover to the next 12-month 22 period. A regular nurse will be eligible for a maximum of $450 per 12-month period. If 23 any part of the above annual amount remains undistributed at the end of the 12-month 24 period, individual nurses who apply for expenses in excess of their individual maximums 25 ($450) will be reimbursed on an equitable basis up to an additional $650 annually. No 26 nurse will receive more than $1,100 in education funds annually.

  • Special Education Teachers Whenever any Elementary Special Education class to which a student(s) is(are) added as a result of the distribution of students from the class of an absent Elementary Special Education teacher, Article 8-7 shall be in effect. In addition, whenever the class size of the receiving Special Education teacher exceeds the class size maxim mandated by Special Education class size law and/or regulation, the Xxxxxxxx Formula in AAA Case No. 1139-0696- 85, February 21, 1986, shall be used to calculate the compensation which said teacher shall receive as follows: The rate of pay for said teacher for teaching said additional students shall be computed by multiplying the teacher’s daily gross compensation by a fraction in which the denominator is twenty-six (26) and the numerator is the number of children taught in excess of Article 8-1.1 Item 3 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the parties.

  • Health Spending Account contributions by the Executive will cease on the Effective Date. The Executive may submit claims against the balance accrued to the Effective Date, until the end of the calendar year in which the Effective Date occurs.

  • FEMA Fund Certifications Submission of this proposal is Vendor’s certification that Vendor agrees to this term. Vendor certifies that IF and when Vendor accepts a TIPS purchase paid for in full or part with FEMA funds, Vendor certifies that: (1) Vendor agrees to provide the TIPS Member, the FEMA Administrator, the Comptroller General of the United States, or any of their authorized representatives access to and rights to reproduce any books, documents, papers, and records of the Contractor which are directly pertinent to this contract for the purposes of making audits, examinations, excerpts, and transcriptions. The Vendor agrees to provide the FEMA Administrator or an authorized representatives access to construction or other work sites pertaining to the work being completed under the contract. Vendor acknowledges and agrees that no language in this contract or the contract with the TIPS Member is intended to prohibit audits or internal reviews by the FEMA Administrator or the Comptroller General of the United States. (2) The Vendor shall not use the Department of Homeland Security’s seal(s), logos, crests, or reproductions of flags or likenesses of DHS agency officials without specific FEMA pre-approval. (3) The Vendor will comply with all applicable Federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, and directives. (4) The Federal Government is not a party to this contract and is not subject to any obligations or liabilities to the non-Federal entity, contractor, or any other party pertaining to any matter resulting from the contract. (5) The Vendor acknowledges that 31 U.S.C. Chap. 38 (Administrative Remedies for False Claims and Statements) applies to the Vendor’s actions pertaining to this contract.

  • Education Fund The College will allocate $15,000 into an Education Fund as set forth in Appendix “F” to this Agreement.

  • Selection Planning Prior to the issuance to consultants of any requests for proposals, the proposed plan for the selection of consultants under the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Consultant Guidelines. Selection of all consultants’ services shall be undertaken in accordance with such selection plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Professional Development Funds 23.1.1 Two Professional Development Funds, a Professional Development Support Fund and an Education Leave Fund, shall be established to support professional development activities as defined in 23.2. On April 1st of each year, the College will allocate an amount equal to no less than 0.9% of total faculty salary (exclusive of severance payments) to the Professional Development Support Fund, and an amount equal to no less than 0.6% of total faculty salary to the Educational Leave Fund. Any unused balances in these funds shall carry over to the next budget year.

Meets Standard: The school implemented the material elements of its Educational Program in all material respects, and, in operation, the education program reflects the essential terms as defined in the charter contract, or the school has obtained approval for a modification to the essential terms. Measure 1b Is the school complying with applicable education requirements? Meets Standard: The school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract relating to education requirements, including but not limited to: • Academic standards, including Common Core • Graduation requirements • State assessment and student testing • Implementation of mandated programming as a result of state or federal funding, including Title I and Title II funding Measure 1c Is the school protecting the rights of students with disabilities? Meets Standard: Consistent with the school’s status and responsibilities as a school within a single LEA under the State Department of Education, the school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract (including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act) relating to the treatment of students with identified disabilities and those suspected of having a disability, including but not limited to: • Equitable access and opportunity to enroll • Identification and referral • Appropriate development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Section 504 plans • Operational compliance including the academic program, assessments and all other aspects of the school’s program and responsibilities • Discipline, including due process protections, manifestation determinations and behavioral intervention plans • Access to the school’s facility and program to students in a lawful manner and consistent with students’ IEPs or Section 504 plans • Appropriate use of all available, applicable funding Measure 1d Is the school protecting the rights of English Language Learner (ELL) students? Meets Standard: The school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract relating to ELL requirements (including Title III of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act [ESEA] and U.S. Department of Education authorities), including but not limited to: • Equitable access and opportunity to enroll • Required policies related to the service of ELL students • Proper steps for identification of students in need of ELL services • Appropriate and equitable delivery of services to identified students • Appropriate accommodations on assessments • Exiting of students from ELL services • Ongoing monitoring of exited students

  • Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

  • Investment Management If and to the extent requested by the Advisor, the Sub-Advisor shall, subject to the supervision of the Advisor, manage all or a portion of the investments of the Portfolio in accordance with the investment objective, policies and limitations provided in the Portfolio's Prospectus or other governing instruments, as amended from time to time, the Investment Company Act of 1940 (the "1940 Act") and rules thereunder, as amended from time to time, and such other limitations as the Trust or Advisor may impose with respect to the Portfolio by notice to the Sub-Advisor. With respect to the portion of the investments of the Portfolio under its management, the Sub-Advisor is authorized to make investment decisions on behalf of the Portfolio with regard to any stock, bond, other security or investment instrument, and to place orders for the purchase and sale of such securities through such broker-dealers as the Sub-Advisor may select. The Sub-Advisor may also be authorized, but only to the extent such duties are delegated in writing by the Advisor, to provide additional investment management services to the Portfolio, including but not limited to services such as managing foreign currency investments, purchasing and selling or writing futures and options contracts, borrowing money or lending securities on behalf of the Portfolio. All investment management and any other activities of the Sub-Advisor shall at all times be subject to the control and direction of the Advisor and the Trust's Board of Trustees.
