Emergency Leaves. Employees shall be granted leave of absence at full pay not to exceed a total of eight (8) days per year for the following: a. Serious illness in the immediate family (spouse, children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparent or grandchild, step- child, step-parent, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew). b. The funeral of other relatives and close friends not covered under “Bereavement Leave.”
