An EOC may be a temporary facility or may be located in a more central or permanently established facility, perhaps at a higher level of organization within a jurisdiction. EOCs may be organized by major functional disciplines (e.g., fire, law enforcement and medical services), by jurisdiction (e.g., federal, state, regional, tribal, city, county) or some combination thereof.

Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Personnel are Party agency employees and qualified emergency service volunteers responsible for various activities occurring within an EOC such as coordination, communications, resource allocation and tracking, and information collection, analysis and dissemination. They may be full-time emergency management personnel or other personnel from the Party agency, or qualified emergency service volunteers who augment the EOC during emergencies and are trained to regional standards.

The Incident Command Post/Emergency Operations Center ICP/EOC will normally be set up at the Xxxxxxx Xxxxx University-Hawaii (BYUH) Xxxxxxx Xxxx Building (LBS) Presidents Council Room. If it becomes necessary to have an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) separate from the Incident Command Post (ICP) the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will be set up in the Xxxxxxx Xxxxx University-Hawaii (BYUH) Xxxxxx Activity Center (CAC) Band Room or other facility as decided necessary. Other potential locations are the Xxxxxxx Xxxxx University-Hawaii (BYUH) Facilities Management Conference Room, the Stake Center High Council Room and the Library Instruction Room depending on the nature of the emergency.   • Emergency Room Services This plan covers services received in a hospital emergency room when needed to stabilize or initiate treatment in an emergency. If your condition needs immediate or urgent, but non-emergency care, contact your PCP or use an urgent care center. This plan covers bandages, crutches, canes, collars, and other supplies incidental to your treatment in the emergency room as part of our allowance for the emergency room services. Additional services provided in the emergency room such as radiology or physician consultations are covered separately from emergency room services and may require additional copayments. The amount you pay is based on the type of service being rendered. Follow-up care services, such as suture removal, fracture care or wound care, received at the emergency room will require an additional emergency room copayment.   • Emergency Services Leave (a) An Employee who engages in a voluntary emergency management activity is entitled to be absent without loss of pay from his or her employment for a total of 5 days per annum commencing at the start of each calendar year. For the avoidance of doubt, any days not utilised by the Employee by the end of the calendar year, do not carry over into the subsequent year. (b) Voluntary emergency management activity has the meaning provided by the FWA.

  • Emergency Situations If the condition is an emergency, this will be communicated to the Contractor with the request that corrections are to be accomplished immediately. The Contractor shall respond to the notice in emergency situations within twenty-four hours. If the Contractor fails to respond within this time limit, the Owner may correct the defect and charge the Contractor for the Work. If it is determined the complaint is not the responsibility of the Contractor, the Contractor shall be promptly paid for the cost of the corrective work.   • Emergency Repairs a) The landlord must post and maintain in a conspicuous place on the residential property, or give to the tenant in writing, the name and telephone number of the designated contact person for emergency repairs. b) If emergency repairs are required, the tenant must make at least two attempts to telephone the designated contact person, and then give the landlord reasonable time to complete the repairs. c) If the emergency repairs are still required, the tenant may undertake the repairs, and claim reimbursement from the landlord, provided a statement of account and receipts are given to the landlord.
