Employability Skills. Transport Arrangements No transportation required. As an internet/virtual school, all provision is web- based. Students only need a computer and a broadband connection. Headsets also desired for maximum benefit. Method of Feedback to home and school All attendance, assignment grades and weekly teacher reports are available to both students and schools. Weekly reports consist of soft skills measurements (settling to work, motivation, confidence, punctuality) and progress (NC Levels/GSCE grades). Employability Skills. The employability skills workshop is a 2-hour workshop designed to assist jobseekers with the foundational necessities of employment. Content includes appearance and self-conduct, verbal and non-verbal communication, phone etiquette and online presence. Where available, participants will be given an opportunity to receive a work-appropriate outfit after successful completion of the workshop. This workshop covers important elements on workplace etiquette that many have never been exposed to.
Employability Skills. I understand in the clinical area after a student has been assigned patients, leaving the patient unit for any reason without reporting appropriately to the resource nurse and instructor and receiving permission to leave is considered abandonment of patients. Abandonment of patients is cause for immediate disciplinary action and possible dismissal from the Practical Nursing Program. Dismissal from the program will be decided by an instructor, program coordinator, and FCTC Vice-Principal during an Admissions Review.
