Employees with Less Than One Year's Service. (a) Clause 2.7 - REDUNDANCY shall not apply to employees with less than one year's continuous service and the general obligation on employers should be no more than to give relevant employees an indication of the impending redundancy at the first reasonable opportunity, and to take such steps as may be reasonable to facilitate the obtaining by the employees of suitable alternative employment.

If such vacation time is less than eight (8) hours, the Authority will allow non-chargeable time off to make up the difference up to eight (8) hours. Such vacation allowances will be taken or paid for after the completion of one (1) year of service. Annual vacations will thereafter be granted as of the vacation year.
