Entitlement to sick pay. The bank shall pay sick pay for the first 14 calendar days of the period of sick leave according to the Sick Pay Act. A detailed calculation of the amount of the sick pay is provided above. The sick pay period com- mences on the first calendar day that is a working day for the employee. Employees on permanent, probationary and fixed-term contracts are en- titled to sick pay from their first day of employment, although employees on a fixed-term contract shorter than one month are entitled to sick pay if they have taken up the employment and worked for 14 consecutive cal- endar days.

Entitlement to sick pay. Sick pay paid by the employer during the first 14 calendar days of the sickness period is calculated in accordance with the Swedish Act on Sickness Payments and addenda in accordance with 11.2.2, second paragraph. For details of calculation of sick pay, see 11.3.1 to 11.3.4. Sick pay paid by the employer from and including the 15th calendar day of the sickness period is calculated in accordance with 11.3.6 to 11.3.8 and 11.4 to 11.6. A sickness period that starts within five calendar days of the end of a previous sickness period shall be deemed to be a continuation of the previous sickness period.

  • Entitlement to Rebate Upon timely demand, non-members may apply to the Association for an advance reduction/rebate of the fair share fee pursuant to the internal procedure adopted by the Association.

  • Entitlement to Other Sick Leave Each employee in the bargaining unit shall once a year be credited with a total of 100 days sick leave in addition to the sick leave provided under Section 13.4.1 of this Article. Each day of sick leave provided by this Section shall be compensated at the rate of fifty (50) percent of the employee’s regular salary. The paid sick leave provided for under this Section shall be in addition to any other paid leave provided for in this Article and shall be used after the exhaustion of the leaves provided in Sections 13.4. The leave in this Section shall not be accumulative.

  • Entitlement to Vacation Leave With Pay An employee is entitled to vacation leave with pay to the extent of his earned credits but an employee who has completed six (6) months of continuous employment may receive an advance of credits equivalent to the anticipated credits for the vacation year.

  • Entitlement to Leave An employee shall be granted Workers' Compensation leave with pay in the event that the Workers' Compensation Board (WorkSafe BC) determines that the employee has established a claim (time loss benefits) and they are unable to perform their duties by reason of the compensable injury which occurred while employed by the Employer. For the purposes of this clause, pay is defined as the employee's regular take-home wages to ensure that the non-taxable status of Workers' Compensation benefits does not provide an opportunity for an injured worker to earn more while on claim than if they were working. The term claim will not include any form of WCB allowance or pension, and this section will not be operative while an employee is receiving such a different form of payment from WCB arising from this claim.

  • Basic entitlement (a) After twelve months continuous service, parents are entitled to a combined total of 52 weeks unpaid parental leave on a shared basis in relation to the birth or adoption of their child. For females, maternity leave may be taken and for males, paternity leave may be taken. Adoption leave may be taken in the case of adoption.
