Firm Transmission Service. Owner shall make available to Distribution Company, from and after the Commercial Operation Date through the end of the Term, transmission capacity on the NECEC Transmission Line in order to deliver electrical energy, as scheduled by Distribution Company or its designee or assignee under the resale provisions of Article X, in such scheduled amount up to the Contract Capacity, measured at the Delivery Point (“Firm Transmission Service”). Firm Transmission Service shall be made available over the NECEC Transmission Line at any time from and after the Commercial Operation Date, in a north-to-south direction, and to the extent available in a south-to-north direction, between the U.S. Border and the Delivery Point. Firm Transmission Service shall be subject to curtailment or interruption only as a result of an Excused Outage or as provided in Section 14.3(b). Without limiting Owner’s obligations under this Section 7.1.1, the quantity of Firm Transmission Service that Owner will provide in any hour shall not exceed the Proportionate Share of the Available Transfer Capability for such hour.

Firm Transmission Service. 4.1. Commencing on the Effective Date, PacifiCorp shall provide Firm Transmission Service over PacifiCorp’s Transmission System for the delivery of capacity and energy from UMPA Resources to UMPA Load at the Points of Delivery net of the Western Resource, including deliveries from UMPA Resources to the Xxxx Point of Delivery (to the extent and only to the extent that the capacity and energy delivered to the Xxxx Point of Delivery is in excess of the UMPA Load at Points of Delivery other than Xxxx). PacifiCorp’s obligation to provide such Firm Transmission Service shall be subject to PacifiCorp’s right to interrupt or reduce schedules of capacity and energy pursuant to Section 4.4 and 4.5 herein. UMPA shall pay PacifiCorp for Firm Transmission Service provided under this Section in accordance with Exhibit D to this Agreement. 4.2. UMPA may use PacifiCorp’s Transmission System to deliver energy to its UMPA Load at metered or calculated Points of Delivery from resources that have not been designated as UMPA Resources and from Points of Receipt not designated in Exhibit B. Such energy shall be transmitted on an as-available basis, secondary network basis, at no additional charge. 4.3. UMPA may elect to designate less than its total load as UMPA Load but may not designate less than its total load at a discrete metered Point of Delivery. Where UMPA has elected not to designate a particular load at discrete Points of Delivery as UMPA Load, such non-designated load shall be removed as a Point of Delivery from Exhibit A. UMPA is responsible for making separate arrangements under Part II of PacifiCorp’s Tariff for any point-to-point transmission service that may be necessary for such non-designated load. 4.4. PacifiCorp shall exercise its best efforts to supply continuous Firm Transmission Service in accordance with Good Utility Practice, but does not warrant or guarantee that such Firm Transmission Service shall be free from interruption or reductions for reasons including, but not limited to: (a) interruptions or reductions due to force majeure events pursuant to Section 20 herein, (b) interruptions or reductions due to action reasonably instituted by automatic or manual controls for the purpose of maintaining overall reliability and continuity of PacifiCorp's Transmission System or generation facilities or (c) interruptions or reductions which, in the reasonable opinion of PacifiCorp, are necessary for the purposes of maintenance, repair, replacement, installatio...
Firm Transmission Service. Firm Transmission Service shall mean transmission service that is intended to be available at all times to the maximum extent practicable, subject to an Emergency, an unanticipated failure of a facility, or other event beyond the control of the owner or operator of the facility or the Office of the Interconnection.

Firm Transmission Service shall be made available over the Northern Pass Transmission Line at any time from and after the Commercial Operation Date, in a north-to-south and south-to-north direction, between the U.S. Border and the Delivery Point. Firm Transmission Service shall be subject to curtailment or interruption only as a result of an Excused Outage or as provided in Section 15.3(b). Without limiting Owner’s obligations under this Section 7.1.1, the quantity of Firm Transmission Service that Owner will provide in any hour shall not exceed the Total Transfer Capability for such hour.
Firm Transmission Service. Firm Point-to-Point Transmission Service or Network Integration Transmission Service.
Firm Transmission Service. The obligation, comparable to Network Integration Service under the Tariff and as more fully described in Section 4 hereof, of PacifiCorp to transfer capacity and energy from UMPA Resources as described in Exhibit C hereof at the Points of Receipt described in Exhibit B hereto, less the Western Resource, to the Points of Delivery described in Exhibit A hereto.

Firm Transmission Service. 3.1 Commencing on the Effective Date, PacifiCorp shall accept from Deseret schedules for firm transmission service over the PacifiCorp Transmission System for the delivery of capacity and energy for the purpose of serving Deseret On- System Load, net of load served by the Western Resource, and to deliver capacity and energy from the Hunter Resource to the Xxxx POD, to the extent and only to the extent that such Hunter Resource capacity and energy is in excess of the Deseret On-System Load net of the Western Resource. Firm Transmission Service includes firm service over the FCRTS needed to assure adequate and reliable service to nonfederal loads in the Pacific Northwest, as that region is defined in subsection 3(14) of the Pacific Northwest Electric Power Planning and Conservation Act (16 U. S. C. subsection 83 9a(14)), where not included in Native Load.
