Fixed Route. The Contractor shall operate all designated routes using VCTC-owned buses, Contractor provided operators, and shall provide at the Contractor’s expense, all fuel, supplies and accessories necessary for safe operation of such vehicles. All related costs shall be included in the Contractor’s proposed hourly service rate. The Contractor and Contractor’s personnel shall maintain and operate said vehicles and perform the services at all times in a safe, efficient, and lawful manner, and shall comply with all state, federal and local regulations. The Contractor shall complete all scheduled route hours on a daily basis as specified by VCTC. The Contractor agrees that the vehicles used in performing the services shall, at all times, be maintained and operated in a manner satisfactory to VCTC and suitable for passenger transportation, and shall comply with ADA requirements for provision of fixed route services. The Contractor shall maintain all vehicles per the standards of the manufacturer or as otherwise specified by VCTC. Fixed Route. A.4.3.2.1 The CONTRACTOR shall utilize fixed route transportation whenever available and appropriate to meet the needs of the member. A.4.3.2.2 The CONTRACTOR shall be familiar with schedules of fixed route transportation in communities where it is available and where it becomes available during the term of the Agreement. A.4.3.2.3 The CONTRACTOR shall distribute and/or arrange for the distribution of fixed route tickets, tokens or passes to members for whom fixed route transportation is available and appropriate. The CONTRACTOR shall have controls in place to track the distribution of tickets/tokens/passes. The CONTRACTOR shall use best efforts that tickets/tokens/passes are used appropriately. Amendment Number 3 (cont.) A.4.3.2.4 The CONTRACTOR shall consider the following when determining whether fixed route transportation is available and appropriate for a member: A.4.3.2.4.1 The furthest distance a member shall be required to travel to or from a fixed route transportation stop is one-quarter (1/4th) of a mile; A.4.3.2.4.2 The member shall not be required to change buses/trolleys more than once each leg of the trip; A.4.3.2.4.3 Using fixed route transportation shall not increase travel time more than sixty (60) minutes as compared to transportation directly from the pick-up location to the drop-off destination; A.4.3.2.4.4 The fixed route transportation schedule shall allow the member to arrive at the destination no more than sixty (60) minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time and shall be flexible on the return so that the member does not have to wait at the pick-up location more than sixty (60) minutes after the estimated time the appointment will end; A.4.3.2.4.5 Whether fixed route transportation is appropriate based on the member’s physical or mental disabilities; and A.4.3.2.4.6 Whether using fixed route for the requested trip is appropriate considering the accessibility of the stops and the safety in accessing the stops. A.4.3.2.5 Fixed route shall not be appropriate for a member whose physician states in writing that the member cannot use fixed route transportation.

VCTC may adjust routes and schedules from time to time. Actual revenue vehicle hours may be lower if schools are not in session, trips are missed or other occurrences. Contractor shall provide general purpose Dial-A-Ride service for the general public within the Heritage Valley. This service is open to the general public and does not require ADA paratransit eligibility. Historically Dial-a- ride trips are generally requested (and scheduled) same-day on- demand. Depending on availability, Dial-a- ride service is expected to be scheduled for within one (1) hour of a requested pickup time. Dial-A-Ride general service weekday hours are 6:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. and weekend hours are 8:00a.m. –6:00 p.m. Projected yearly revenue hours are not to exceed 12,000.

  • Service Description 2.1 General

  • Service Descriptions Credit Card processing services: Global Direct’s actions to the appropriate card associations and/or issuers (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, Diners, Discover); settlement; dispute resolution with cardholders’ banks; and transaction-related reporting, statements and products. Debit/ATM Processing Services: Global Direct has connected to the following debit card networks (“Networks”): Accel, AFFN, Interlink, MAC, Maestro, NYCE, Pulse, Star, and Tyme. Global Direct will provide Merchant with the ability to access the Networks that Global Direct has connected to for the purpose of authorizing debit card transactions at the point of sale from cards issued by the members of the respective Networks. Global Direct will provide connection to such Networks, terminal applications, settlement and reporting activities. EBT Transaction Processing Services: Global Direct offers electronic interfaces to Electronic Benefits Transfer (“EBT”) networks for the processing of cash payments or credits to or for the benefit of benefit recipients (“Recipients”). Global Direct will provide settlement and switching services for various Point of Sale transactions initiated through Merchant for the authorization of the issuance of the United States Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Services (“FNS”) food stamp benefits (“FS Benefits”) and/or government delivered cash assistance benefits (“Cash Benefits, ”with FS Benefits, “Benefits”) to Recipients through the use of a state-issued card (“EBT Card”). With respect to Visa and MasterCard products, Merchant agrees to pay and Merchant's account(s) will be charged pursuant to Section 5 of this Agreement for any additional fees incurred as a result of Merchant's subsequent acceptance of transactions with any Visa or MasterCard product that it has not elected to accept.

  • HOT LIST PRICING At any time during this Contract, Supplier may offer a specific selection of Equipment, Products, or Services at discounts greater than those listed in the Contract. When Supplier determines it will offer Hot List Pricing, it must be submitted electronically to Sourcewell in a line-item format. Equipment, Products, or Services may be added or removed from the Hot List at any time through a Sourcewell Price and Product Change Form as defined in Article 4 below. Hot List program and pricing may also be used to discount and liquidate close-out and discontinued Equipment and Products as long as those close-out and discontinued items are clearly identified as such. Current ordering process and administrative fees apply. Hot List Pricing must be published and made available to all Participating Entities.

  • NON-NETWORK PROVIDER is a provider that has not entered into a contract with us or any other Blue Cross and Blue Shield plan. For pediatric dental care services, non-network provider is a dentist that has not entered into a contract with us or does not participate in the Dental Coast to Coast Network. For pediatric vision hardware services, a non-network provider is a provider that has not entered into a contract with EyeMed, our vision care service manager.

  • Unit Pricing If required by the Bid Specifications, the Bidder should insert the price per unit specified and the price extensions in decimals, not to exceed four places for each item unless otherwise specified, in the Bid. In the event of a discrepancy between the unit price and the extension, the unit price shall govern unless, in the sole judgment of the Commissioner, such unit pricing is obviously erroneous.

  • Switching System Hierarchy and Trunking Requirements For purposes of routing ECI traffic to Verizon, the subtending arrangements between Verizon Tandem Switches and Verizon End Office Switches shall be the same as the Tandem/End Office subtending arrangements Verizon maintains for the routing of its own or other carriers’ traffic (i.e., traffic will be routed to the appropriate Verizon Tandem subtended by the terminating End Office serving the Verizon Customer). For purposes of routing Verizon traffic to ECI, the subtending arrangements between ECI Tandem Switches and ECI End Office Switches shall be the same as the Tandem/End Office subtending arrangements that ECI maintains for the routing of its own or other carriers’ traffic.
