FLEXIBILITY OF WORK. Subject to the provisions of this clause the Company may direct an employee to carry out and the employee shall perform such duties as are either within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training. Employees may also be required to perform duties under supervision for which training is being given. Employees shall take all reasonable steps to achieve quality, accuracy and completion of any job or task assigned to the employee. Employees shall not impose any restrictions or limitations on a reasonable review of work methods or standard work times. All reviews carried out by the Company will take into account the potential impact on Occupational Health and Safety. Where possible this will be done in consultation with the workforce.

No employee shall be required to undertake systematic cleaning of toilets.
FLEXIBILITY OF WORK. 32.1. An employer and employee covered by this enterprise agreement may agree to make an individual flexibility arrangement to vary the effect of terms of the agreement if: 32.1.1. The agreement deals with leave loading 32.1.2. The arrangement meets the genuine needs of the employer and employee in relations to the above matter mentioned in 32.1.1; and 32.1.3. The arrangement is genuinely agreed to by the employer and employee.

FLEXIBILITY OF WORK. Flexible application of the terms and conditions of employment will be a key feature of the Agreement. a) Employees are to perform a wider range of duties including work which is incidental or peripheral to their main task or functions. b) Employees shall perform such work as is reasonable and lawfully required of them by the Company including accepting instruction from authorised personnel. c) Employees shall take all reasonable steps to achieve quality, accuracy and completion of any job or task assigned, however these must be within the scope of skills that the employee has. d) Employees shall not impose any restrictions or limitations on a reasonable review of work methods or standard work times. e) There shall be 1 qualified team leader per shift in the laboratory. For the purposes of defining “qualified”, criteria shall be defined in accordance with the criteria set out in Schedule 2 of this agreement.
