Relief Employees Relief or part-time employees shall be paid the same hourly rate as full-time employees in the same occupational classification.
DNR Employees An employee of the Department of Natural Resources may meet the basic eligibility requirement for participation in the Group Insurance Program based on a combination of seasonal and temporary project employment. Eligibility commences after completion of three (3) years of continuous service in which the basic eligibility requirements are met; continues until the employee completes a year in which the basic eligibility requirements are not met; and commences again after the employee meets or is anticipated to meet the basic eligibility requirements in one (1) year.
Laid Off Employees A) Should vacancies occur following layoff, those employees on layoff will be recalled to these positions in order of seniority providing they have the capabilities and the qualifications to perform the duties of the vacant position. If no employee on layoff possesses the required capabilities and qualifications, the vacant position will be posted pursuant to Article 15.01.
Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked. The entitlement will be calculated on the annual leave anniversary date. Qualifying shifts are defined as a shift which involves at least 2 hours work performed outside the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm, excluding overtime. Returning Employee Rights Employees returning from authorized leave without pay will be employed in the same position or in another position in the same job classification, as determined by the Employer, provided that such reemployment is not in conflict with other articles in this Agreement. The employee and the Employer may enter into a written agreement regarding return rights at the commencement of the leave.
Continuing Employees “Continuing Employees” is defined in Section 6.4 of the Agreement.
Contractor’s Employees B7.1 The Council reserves the right under the Contract to refuse to admit to, or to withdraw permission to remain on, any premises occupied by or on behalf of the Council:
Certifying Employees In each Annual Report, Xxxxxxx shall include the certifications of Certifying Employees required by Section III.A.4;
Rehired Employees Amounts forfeited upon termination of employment because of the failure to meet the applicable vesting requirements shall not be reinstated or re-credited if an individual is subsequently rehired or re-employed by the School Corporation. However, if the Board shall have approved a leave of absence of not more than one (1) fiscal year for an employee, such period of leave shall not result in forfeiture provided the employee shall promptly return to employment following the expiration of the period of the leave.
Intermittent Employees On the first day of the monthly pay period following completion of each period of 160 hours or 20 days of paid employment, each intermittent employee in the State civil service shall be allowed one (1) day of credit for sick leave with pay. The hours or days worked in excess of 160 hours or 20 days in a monthly pay period shall not be counted or accumulated.
