Gang Bosses. (a) Gang Boss rates will be paid to those workers designated by the Producer to take charge of a crew of employees or a project. The Producer will not unreasonably fail to designate a Gang Boss on such jobs or projects that require Gang Boss supervision. (b) When an employee subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement supervises one or more Gang Bosses, he shall receive not less than the subforeman rate in the case of a Grip Gang Boss, and not less than the xxxxxxx rate in the case of a Crafts Service Gang Boss.

Gang Bosses. (a) A Gang Boss is an employee, subject to this Agreement, who is assigned by the Producer or is held responsible by the Producer for the supervision of the work of other employees or is, at the Producer's discretion, assigned to a special project. A Gang Boss may be required to work with journeyman tools or to work with his men in the performance of his duties. The foregoing shall not apply in any case in which an employee assumes the responsibility of supervising other employees on his own initiative and without the specific approval of the Producer. (b) When an employee subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement supervises one or more Gang Bosses, he shall receive the Xxxxxxx'x rate of pay.

Gang BossesThe Employer shall assign no less than two (2) Gang Bosses in each workday in the Sound/Video department, and shall assign no less than one (1) Gang Boss in each workday in the Electrical department and one (1) in HVACR departments. In addition, the Employer agrees to comply with the requirements of the Basic Agreement in designating a Gang Boss on jobs that require Gang Boss supervision.
Gang BossesThe Employer shall assign at least one (1) Gang Boss per shift per Seniority Roster (see Article 10(A)). The Employer shall not be required to assign a Gang Boss to a shift where a Foreperson for that Seniority Roster is working or where there is only one (1) employee on the Seniority Roster who is working the shift. Additional Gang Bosses may be assigned based on the Employer’s sole determination of business need. Should a Gang Boss position become available or the Employer chooses to interview for such positions, the Employer will post a notification of the open position. This posting shall list the requisite skills and experience for the position, as well as general responsibilities of the position. The posting for the position shall be posted for seven calendar days. Interested employees shall notify management of their interest by following the instructions on the posting. The Employer will interview all internal candidates for the open position. Management will solicit input from the appropriate Foreperson. Management will make a selection based on its sole assessment of the candidates’ skills, abilities, and experience for the position. The Employer shall notify all candidates who are not selected and explain the reason that the candidate was not selected. The Employer may remove any Gang Boss in its sole discretion.
