Grievance Procedure – Individual or Group Grievance. (a) For the purpose of this Agreement, a grievance is defined as a disagreement between the parties relating to the interpretation, application or administration of this Agreement or Employer policy, or as an alleged violation of a specific article or section of this Agreement. No grievance shall be processed through the grievance procedure which is not initiated by the grievor within twenty (20) Business Days after the incident giving rise to the grievance, except where the Employee is not aware of the incident giving rise to the grievance, in which event the grievance must be initiated within twenty (20) Business Days after the affected Employee becomes aware of the incident giving rise to the grievance.

  • Grievance Procedure - Individual In the case of a grievance by the Bargaining Unit on behalf of one of its Members, the following steps may be taken in sequence where informal attempts to resolve the matter with the immediate supervisor have failed.

  • Group Grievance Where a number of employees have identical grievances and each employee would be entitled to grieve separately they may present a group grievance in writing signed by each employee who is grieving to the Administrator or her designate within ten (10) days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance have occurred or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employee(s). The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step No. 1 and the applicable provisions of this Article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance.
