Health and Safety Complaint Procedure. If practical, the Employer will provide safe, secure, healthful working conditions for all employees. The Employer agrees to comply with the federal Occupation Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and all other applicable federal, State, or local laws and regulations, and departmental safety rules and regulations. Nothing in this Agreement will imply the Union has assumed legal responsibility for the health and safety of employees. This Section does not affect the rights of individual employees or the Union to file complaints with XXXXX.

Health and Safety Complaint Procedure. The parties recognize that knowledge of health and safety hazards, good communication and prompt corrective action are fundamental to the success of this program. Further, the company will encourage employees to communicate concerns to their supervisors who have both the authority and responsibility to implement changes. If a health and safety issue cannot be resolved between an employee and supervisor, the employee may complete a Health and Safety Complaint Form and request the assistance of the Bargaining Committee Person or the Union Health and Safety Representative.

  • Health and Safety Grievances A. It is the policy of the State employer to enforce safety and health, policies, procedures, and work practices and protect employees from harm in connection with State operations.

  • HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK The Supplier shall undertake its obligations arising hereunder and in all Contracts in accordance with the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System or equivalent. Xxxxxx agrees that the Health and Safety Plan is submitted to the Department only for informational purposes.
