HEALTH AND SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES. In accordance with RSMO 292.675 any contractor for any public body for purposes of construction of public works and any subcontractor to such contractor shall provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees which includes a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA of a similar program which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program, unless such employees have previously completed the required program. All employees who have not previously completed the program are required to complete the program within sixty days of beginning work on such construction Project. Any employee found on a work site subject to this section without documentation of the successful completion of the course required shall be afforded twenty days to produce such documentation before being subject to removal from the Project. The CONTRACTOR will forfeit a penalty to the CITY of $2,500 plus an additional $100 for each employee employed by the contractor or subcontractor, or each calendar day, or portion thereof, such employee is employed without the required training.

HEALTH AND SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES. 29.1 We, the employer, and you, the employee, agree that a safe and secure workplace is important and we will comply with occupational health and safety laws. 29.2 You will take all practicable steps to ensure your own safety while at work, and to ensure that no action or inaction by you while at work causes harm to any other person. 29.3 You will ensure safety procedures are followed at all times. 29.4 If you do not comply with the rules and procedures, disciplinary action may be taken. 29.5 You will report to management as soon as possible any accidents, incidents or hazards arising during the course of your employment. If you have any concerns in relation to your safety or the safety of others in the workplace, you are to report them to your supervisor or manager, who will take all practicable steps to provide and maintain a safe work environment.

HEALTH AND SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES. All personnel must undergo a pre-employment physical, which includes a skin test, Tuberculosis Screen. A chest X-ray may also be required for those who are exhibiting symptoms or have had a positive skin test in the past with no recent chest x-ray.  All personnel are expected to follow sanitary practices and standard precautions at all times and follow established policies and procedures for infection control.  Surveillance of infectious disease at WVH-K will be carried out on a continuing basis.

The responsibilities of all Employees include, but are not limited to: (a) working carefully to ensure the Employees own safety and the safety of others who may be affected by an Employee's acts or omissions; (b) using and maintaining equipment properly; and (c) ensuring that all work areas are free of hazards. 53.2. Any Employee becoming aware of a situation that is unsafe is responsible for immediately reporting the information to their supervisor / manager and the supervisor / manager shall be responsible for acting on the report. 53.3. All personal protective equipment issued to Employees must be used and worn in the manner intended. 53.4. Employees must comply with Rain Bird's Policies in relation to health and safety in conjunction with this Clause.
