Health Check Leave. The importance of principals maintaining healthy lifestyles and seeking regular health check­ups is recognised.
Health Check Leave. The parties recognise the importance of employees maintaining healthy lifestyles and regular health check-ups. The Employer agrees that employees with 40 or more days of accumulated personal/carer’s leave will be entitled to use 1 day per annum of this accumulated personal/carer’s leave to obtain medical advice and/or treatment of a preventative nature. The employee will, where practicable, give the Employer 2 weeks’ notice prior to taking health check leave.
Health Check Leave. The College recognises the importance of Employees maintaining healthy lifestyles and regular health check-ups. In an effort to xxxxxx healthy lifestyles, Employees shall be entitled to use one (1) day per annum of their personal leave to obtain medical advice and/or treatment of a preventative nature. The Employee shall, where practicable, give the Principal two (2) weeks’ notice prior to taking health check leave.

  • Health Leave Any regular employee of the District may, at the discretion of the Board, be granted a leave of absence without pay for reasons of health, such leave to be specified for a period of not more than one year. Such leave may be extended in case of serious health conditions.

The Employer may not adopt or enforce any policy that counts the use of paid sick leave time as an absence that may lead to or result in disciplinary action for an authorized purpose. The Employer may not discriminate or retaliate against an employee for the use of paid sick leave for an authorized purpose.

  • Annual Paid Sick Leave Fifteen (15) days sick leave per year shall be earned by an employee at the rate of 1.25 days for every month that an employee is employed.

  • SICK LEAVE AND BEREAVEMENT LEAVE Section 1. a. Employees shall be eligible to use paid sick leave after 30 calendar days of service with the Employer.   • Paid Sick Leave Employees shall earn and be granted paid sick leave according to the following provisions:

  • Family Sick Leave An employee may use Family Sick Leave for the illness of a member of the employee's immediate family who requires the care and assistance of the employee. Up to eighty (80) hours per calendar year of the employee’s accumulated unused sick leave may be used for this purpose.

  • Funeral/Bereavement Leave In the event of death in the immediate family of an employee, the employee will be granted leave of absence with pay, with consideration given to travel time for the purpose of attending the funeral.   • Medical Leave of Absence Where you have a medical leave of absence due to any medically determinable physical or mental impairment that can be expected to result in death or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than six months, and you have not returned to employment with the Company or an Affiliate, a Separation from Service has occurred on the earlier of: (A) the first day on which you would not be considered “disabled” under any disability policy of the Company or Affiliate under which you are then receiving a benefit; or (B) the first day on which your medical leave of absence period exceeds 29 months.

  • Carer’s Leave An employee may use up to 10 days accrued sick days as carers leave to tend to the care for members of the employee’s immediate household. The leave will be subject to the employee providing reasonable proof of the need for the use of xxxxx’s leave. In circumstances where the employee has exhausted all of the paid leave, a further 2 days unpaid leave may be taken.
