Hold Over Time. Hold Over Time means time worked by the employee for shifts or partial shifts that immediately follow the employee's regularly scheduled shift and is requested by the Employer either preceding or during the employee's regularly scheduled shift. Such time is not subject to call out provisions.

Hold Over Time. When any employee is held over more than fifteen (15) minutes beyond his regularly scheduled work day or duty shift as a result of events or activities which occur during his shift, he shall be paid at a rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times the regular straight-time hourly rate of pay for each overtime hour worked beyond his regular scheduled work day with such pay received in fifteen (15) minute segments.
Hold Over Time. When an employee is requested by the Village to work additional time due to emergency calls or late personnel immediately after the regular work shift without interruptions, the employee will be guaranteed a minimum of one (1) hour paid at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee’s basic hour rate after fifteen (15) minutes. The first fifteen (15) minutes will be at straight time. Any time in addition to the first hour will be paid in fifteen (15) minute increments. Hold over hours will not affect the regular overtime lists.

  • Show Up Time An employee who reports to work in the usual manner without having been notified that there is no work available and is sent home because of lack of work before having worked four (4) hours shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate. The employee shall also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable. Each employee must inform the Employer of a means of being contacted on short notice. If an attempt is made by the Employer at least two (2) hours before the employee’s shift commences by way of the contact information provided, in an effort to inform the employee of a lack of work, and the Employer is unable to do so, the employee will not be entitled to show up time.

  • Flex Time Upon agreement of the supervisor's immediate supervisor, an individual flex-time schedule may be established.

  • Prep Time ‌ Each teacher shall be provided daily with a minimum of an uninterrupted sixty (60) minute preparation period, except that an emergency, as determined by the Appointing Authority, within an institution may temporarily necessitate other assignments. During prep time, teachers must be allowed full access to their class room or designated workspace without disruption. Part-time teachers shall receive a pro-rated preparation period based on ten (10) minutes for each class period taught, with a minimum of thirty (30) minutes per day.

  • Work Time A. Work time includes time during which an employee:

  • Project Time As defined herein, this is the time within which the Contractor shall complete all Work contracted for under this Contract as indicated in a fully authorized Service Work Order pursuant to the Service Work Order Process provision set forth in this Contract.

  • Anniversary Date A regular employee’s initial date of current employment with the Employer as a regular employee shall be her anniversary date for the purpose of determining benefits and for the purpose of determining increment anniversary date. (Reference Article 6.05 - Superior Benefits and Article 12.03 - Increments).

  • Extended Time An employee whose regular teaching contract has extended time added to it shall be compensated at his/her per diem rate in effect at the time the extended time is scheduled to be performed.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Break Time For daily work assignments of six or more hours, permanent and probationary employees (except bus drivers and bus aides) shall be entitled to one 15-minute break for each half of the work assignment. For work assignments of less than six hours, such employees shall be entitled to one 15-minute break. Employees who spend a majority of the workday working with a Video Display Terminal (VDT) shall be permitted to perform other job-related duties (i.e., work not involving use of a VDT) 10 continuous minutes out of each hour. Such time shall not be cumulative and shall be in addition to break time established above.

  • Wash-Up Time 60.01 Where the Employer determines that due to the nature of the work there is a clear cut need, wash-up time up to a maximum of ten (10) minutes will be permitted before the end of the working day, or immediately following and contiguous to the working day.
