Overtime Lists. Overtime shall be voluntary and subject to the following conditions:
Overtime Lists. In Facilities Management, overtime shall be assigned on a rotating basis from an existing list containing the names of all employees who have volunteered for overtime work within a specific operating unit. Management shall be the sole determiner of which operating unit(s) may be needed for any overtime assignment.
Overtime Lists. The College will establish separate overtime rotation lists for Engineers and Mechanics. The overtime lists will be used by the Chief Engineer or designee to determine the selection of individuals for scheduled overtime. The College retains full and complete authority to determine whether to use the Engineer and/or Mechanic overtime list. These provisions will not apply to situations where special qualifications of an individual preclude the use of the list, including but not limited to licensing and/or special training/ experience requirements in the sole opinion of the Chief Engineer or designee. Scheduled overtime will be that which is pre-determined and posted on the periodically prepared work schedule. Scheduled overtime does not include emergency, early call-in or hold-over situations. Damages in any grievance related to this article will be awarded with future scheduled assigned overtime only for the number of hours not properly scheduled. For purposes of this provision only, “designee” shall not include any member of the College of DuPage Local 399 bargaining unit.

Overtime Lists. Continuous, rotating overtime lists shall be maintained in the Maintenance Department as follows:
Overtime Lists. It shall be the responsibility of supervision to keep overtime in a group according to overtime worked. Initial lists will be arranged by seniority, and overtime opportunities will be offered in turn.
(1) Applicable overtime lists shall be posted in an easily accessible area. The overtime board/list shall be zeroed out at 0000 hours on January first of each calendar year. If the Company fails to zero the overtime board out, each member shall be paid for the bypassed overtime equal to the hours and pay rate of the bypassed overtime. In the event the bypass would be at a higher rate, i.e. 6th and 7th day or holiday, the rate of pay will most benefit the employee.
(2) When determined that additional employees are required on the following shift, OT will be offered per classification(s) and eligibility to those present on the shift working. When all officers are in limitation of hours exceedance, overtime shall be canvassed by classification.
(3) When determined during a shift that additional employees are needed on that shift, it will be offered to those scheduled to be present on the oncoming shift who can be personally contacted by phone by classification and eligibility. Total compensation applies for actual time worked. Article X Section 9.(a) shall apply.
(4) When overtime which cannot be offered according to Items (2) and (3) is to be scheduled, it shall be offered by reference to the established master overtime list of the department.
(5) If overtime is not obtained using the above procedure, the following will apply:
a. If an employee on the oncoming shift reports he/she will be absent or tardy, the employee working the officer's job assignment shall remain on their assignment provided they are eligible (Non-TSR).
b. If the PFO on the preceding shift is ineligible for the holdover, the least senior PFO within that classification shall be held over on that assignment Non-TSR.
c. PFO's forced to work beyond the end of his/her scheduled shift because supervision failed to remove a red-lined employee from the work schedule, the PFO will be paid an addition ½ times the PFO BHR for all hours worked as a result of the error.
d. Except in extreme emergency and employee may not be forced over on their last scheduled day of work preceding scheduled days off or vacation taken. 14 1. Each desk shall maintain a separate Overtime List (OTL). The OTL shall list 15 employees by overtime hours charged. 16
Overtime Lists. Personnel called in for overtime shall be called in for overtime according to overtime lists maintained by the Fire Chief with the approval of the bargaining unit as to the order of employees on the list by seniority. There shall be two (2) lists, one (1) for officers only and one (1) for firefighters that includes non-officer firefighters and non-officer firefighters/paramedics. The call-in lists for overtime shall be made on the basis of seniority, and employees shall be called in for overtime based upon their placement on the list by calling the first member on the list who meets the minimum requirements needed to fill the position. Officers shall not be called for firefighter or firefighter/paramedic recalls except in the case that the firefighter list was exhausted. Firefighters shall not be called to work for officers’ recalls except in the case that the officer list was exhausted. Call-in for overtime shall be in accordance with the recall policy then in effect. Special assignments made by the Chief shall not be subject to the provisions of this section. Recall policies shall be designed to attempt to create equal opportunity for overtime for employees, to fulfill the needs of the Department for the efficient delivery of services, and to ensure that those individuals with special certification or qualifications perform those tasks for which they are specifically certified or qualified i.e., officers, medics and hazmat personnel. These provisions are not meant to limit the authority of the City to establish recall policies for the efficient use of overtime and manpower and the Chief retains the discretion to make the changes in recall policies and procedures to the extent the policies, procedures and changes do not conflict with the provisions of this Article. Any changes shall be presented to and discussed with the Union at least two weeks prior to implementation.

24 1. Each bid area shall maintain a separate Overtime List (OTL) for all classifications 25 within the bid area. The OTL shall list employees by overtime hours charged. 26
27 a. The OTL shall list employees in inverse hour order, those with the fewest 28 hours at the top. In the event two or more employees have the same number 29 of hours, the employee higher on the master seniority list shall be listed first. 30 Hours will be shown in whole hour increments, with fractions of 0.5 or less 31 being rounded down, and fractions of 0.6 or more being rounded up. 32
Overtime Lists. Each school shall have its own rotating overtime list based on seniority within classification. Refusal of overtime shall result in placement at the bottom of the rotating list. (No exceptions.) No employee shall be disciplined for refusing overtime to fill in for fellow-employees. Custodial overtime call-in by individual building shall follow the order for call-in noted below:
1. Leadman/Custodian Absence: Personnel within the building have the right to first refusal to any overtime hours before a call goes out to the district list.
2. District custodians- overtime list (rotating).
3. If no district custodian is available (full rotation), District Building & Grounds are called.
4. If no full-time custodian is available then part-time custodians can be called in.
5. If coverage cannot be found, then Lead Custodian must fill in for absent employee. Building & Grounds employees will have their own rotating overtime list and procedure/call in.
