HOLIDAY PAY AND HOLIDAY SUPPLEMENTS. Holiday pay consists of the monthly salary at the time the annual leave is taken and holiday supplements. The holiday supplement for each paid day of annual leave is – 0.8 per cent of the salaried employee’s monthly salary at the time the annual leave is taken and any fixed salary supplement per month. Concerning changes of level of occupation, see 10.4.6. – 0.5 per cent of the sum of the variable salary components that have been paid during the qualifying year. If the salaried employee has not earned full annual leave, the holiday supplement of 0.5 per cent is adjusted upwards as follows:

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAY PAY 5.3.1 All hours worked by an employee in excess of eight (8) hours per shift and in excess of forty (40) straight time hours per week shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times the straight time rate. All hours worked by an employee in excess of ten (10) hours per shift and all hours worked on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of double the straight time rate.

  • HOLIDAYS AND HOLIDAY PAY 117. A holiday is calculated based on an eight (8) hour day. The following days are designated as holidays:

  • Paid Holiday Pay Payment for holidays will be made at an employee’s basic pay, except if an employee has been working in a higher paid position than her regular position for a majority of the sixty (60) working days preceding her holiday, in which case she shall receive the higher pay.

  • Holiday Pay A. On each of the holidays designated above, each full-time employee scheduled to work but permitted to take the day off shall receive pay computed at the employee's basic hourly rate for the number of hours the employee was regularly scheduled to work.

  • Paid Holiday Bank Employees qualify in accordance with the collective agreement. The paid holidays are identified in the Collective Agreement. Credit to the paid holiday bank will occur on the date of the holiday. Drawing from the paid holiday bank will occur at an accelerated rate of 1.25 hours paid for every hour taken (i.e. 11.25 hours worked equals 14.05 hours paid; 7.5 hours worked equals 9.375 hours paid).

  • Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.

  • Holiday Schedule A. The Employer will determine the number and cate- gories of employees needed for holiday work and a schedule shall be posted as of the Tuesday preceding the service week in which the holiday falls.

  • Holiday Payment 4.1 Where an employee works on a holiday specified in Article 47 (Holidays) and opts for compensating leave under Article UN13.2 or COR13.2, he or she may elect, at that time, to receive, in addition to his or her entitlement under Article UN13.2 or COR13.2, further leave equal to the difference between the number of hours in the employee’s normal work day and his or her entitlement under Article UN13.2

  • Sunday Premium All hours worked by an Employee on Sunday, shall be paid for on the basis of one and one-half (1½) times the Employee’s Regular Rate of Pay. For the purpose of this Section, Sunday shall be deemed to be the twenty-four (24) hours beginning with the shift change hour nearest to 12:01 a.m.

  • WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY DELIVERIES Unless otherwise specified in the Bid Specifications or by an Authorized User, deliveries will be scheduled for ordinary business hours, Monday through Friday (excluding legal holidays observed by the State of New York). Deliveries may be scheduled by mutual agreement for Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays observed by the State of New York where the Product is for daily consumption, an emergency exists, the delivery is a replacement, delivery is late, or other reasonable circumstance in which event the convenience of the Authorized User shall govern.
