Holidays and Rate of Pay a. Employees shall be granted the following paid holidays, in proportion to their regularly assigned hours: Independence Day Christmas Holiday July 5th New Year’s Eve Holiday Labor Day New Year’s Day Veterans’ Day Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Holiday Thanksgiving Day Presidents’ Day Day after Thanksgiving Memorial Day Christmas Eve Holiday i. Employees must work or be on paid leave status the work day before and the work day after a holiday in order to be paid for that holiday, except that school year employees who work or are on paid leave status the last student day before winter break and the first student day following winter break shall be granted, Christmas Eve Holiday, Christmas Holiday, Day after Christmas and New Year’s Holiday. ii. Work performed on holidays listed above and Sundays, except when Sunday is part of the regular work week, shall be compensated at the rate of two (2) times the individual employee’s hourly rate of pay for regular shift work on top of holiday pay. Any work performed on these days must be at the request of and approved by an area or staff supervisor.

  • Rate of Pay a. An Employee who is employed as a teacher teaching on call shall be paid 1/189 of his/her category classification and experience, to a maximum of the rate at Category 5 Step 7, for each full day worked. b. Effective July 1, 2016, an Employee who is employed as a teacher teaching on call shall be paid 1/189 of his/her category classification and experience, to a maximum of the rate at Category 5 Step 8, for each full day worked.

  • Regular Rate of Pay The regular rate of pay shall be defined to include the employee's hourly wage rate (including the wage premium in lieu of benefits, if applicable), plus shift differential if the evening or night shift is a permanent assignment, certification pay, and lead pay when the employee has a regular (designated) lead assignment.

  • Rate of Payment Community service leave for voluntary community service is granted with pay for the first three days leave in a twelve month period to all employees except casual employees.

  • Rate of Compensation In lieu of direct compensation for all overtime, shift work and standby (as defined in Articles 16, 17 and 18 of this Agreement), regular full-time employees shall receive a special compensation of 7% of their basic salary earned for each calendar year. This special compensation shall not be considered part of the employee's basic salary for the purpose of calculating any benefits or other premium entitlements.

  • WAGES AND RATES OF PAY 7.01 Wage Schedules applicable to various job classifications are as set forth in Schedule “A”. 7.02 Additional classifications may be established only by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union during the term of this Agreement and the rates for same shall be subject to negotiation between the Employer and the Union.

  • Rate of Pay on Promotion 44.3.1 When an employee is appointed by the Council to a higher classification level in the same group, he shall be paid at the nearest rate in the new classification level which gives the employee a salary increase not less than the minimum increment of the higher classification level to which he is being appointed by the Council.   • Time of Payments Any payment that is due on a day that is not a Business Day may be made on the next Business Day but will bear interest until received in full. All payments must be made in funds which are immediately available on the date on which payment is due.

  • Place of Payment Subject to Section 14.2, payments of principal, Make-Whole Amount, if any, and interest becoming due and payable on the Notes shall be made in New York, New York at the principal office of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in such jurisdiction. The Company may at any time, by notice to each holder of a Note, change the place of payment of the Notes so long as such place of payment shall be either the principal office of the Company in such jurisdiction or the principal office of a bank or trust company in such jurisdiction.
