Horizontal Growth. Education advancement on the salary schedule shall take place by meeting the following requirements: 1. All college/university course work or master's program shall be graduate level education courses with prior written approval by the district’s superintendent. 2. Intent of educational advancement must be submitted to the superintendent's office in writing on or before June 1 on the approved form. Written validation of such educational advancement (in the form of official transcripts) must be in the superintendent's office by September 10. In the event such validation is not received on or before October 1 of said school year, the teacher shall reimburse the school district for any increase received due to educational advancement and shall have their contract so modified. Horizontal Growth. 1. All college course work must contribute directly to the improvement of skills needed to perform the employee’s specific duties for the Tea Area School District 41-5. The area of study must be in the field of education or course of study taught. 2. All work must be taken at an accredited college or university. 3. Staff who anticipate horizontal movement must submit the completed request form to the District Office by March 1 of the year preceding movement. Complete transcripts of all credits earned must be filed by September 10 with the District office. 4. The superintendent must approve all courses used for horizontal movement in advance. Horizontal Growth. (a) On the terms and subject to the conditions set forth therein, KO hereby agrees to comply with the provisions regarding horizontal growth attached as Exhibit H hereto. (b) In the event the Company issues any Shares in connection with any transaction of a kind described in Exhibit H hereto (a “Horizontal Growth Transaction”), (i) the Shareholders agree, if practicable, to cause the Company to issue only Series B Shares or Series L Shares held as treasury shares, with respect to which all preemptive rights have been waived, (ii) if issuance of only Series B Shares or Series L Shares is not practicable in connection therewith or if such Series B Shares and Series L Shares have been exhausted, CIB and Inmex agree, subject to the approval of their respective Boards of Directors, to exercise (or cause any CIB Shareholders or Inmex Shareholders, as the case may be, to exercise) their preemptive rights to purchase Ordinary Shares to the extent necessary so that upon such acquisition, the CIB Shareholders together shall own greater than 50%, and the Inmex Shareholders shall own not less than 25%, of the issued, subscribed and paid Ordinary Shares.

Contractor acknowledges that such a vaccine or recovery requirement would make Contractor ineligible for a state-funded contract.

  • Professional Growth The Superintendent shall devote the Superintendent’s time, attention, and energy to the direction, administration, and supervision of the District. The Board, however, encourages the continued professional growth of the Superintendent through the Superintendent’s active attendance at and participation in appropriate professional meetings at the local, regional, state and national levels. The Board shall encourage the use of data and information sources, and shall encourage the participation of the Superintendent in pertinent education seminars and courses offered by public or private institutions or by educational associations, as well as the participation in informational meetings with those individuals whose particular skills, expertise, or backgrounds would serve to improve the capacity of the Superintendent to perform the Superintendent’s professional responsibilities for the District. In its encouragement of the Superintendent to grow professionally, the Board shall permit a reasonable amount of release time for the Superintendent as the Superintendent and the Board deem appropriate, to attend such seminars, courses or meetings. The District does hereby agree to provide in the District’s budget during the term of this Contract for the benefit of the Superintendent, a professional development budget per contract year to be used for registration, travel, meals, lodging, and other related expenses. The District shall pay the Superintendent’s membership dues to the American Association of School Administrators, the Texas Association of School Administrators, and the Texas Association of Suburban/Mid-Urban Schools, as well as other memberships necessary to maintain and improve the Superintendent’s professional skills.
