Initial Planning Phase of Project. 2.1.3.1 Architect shall assist Owner in preparation of educational programming for the Project to define scope, size, cost, space relationship, and site development. Assistance to Owner is understood to mean the review of Owner’s prepared program, as it relates to determination of space and translation into physical area and corresponding cost (not actual development of the Owner’s program). 2.1.3.2 Architect shall advise and assist Owner in determining the feasibility of the Project, analysis of the types and quality of materials and construction to be selected, the site location, and other initial planning matters. 2.1.3.3 Architect shall notify Owner in writing of potential complications, cost overruns, unusual conditions, and general needs that could significantly affect the Project budget and time line. 2.1.3.4 Architect shall advise Owner in securing easements, encroachment permits, rights-of-way, dedications, infrastructures, and road improvements, coordinating with utilities and adjacent property owners. 2.1.3.5 If Owner elects the Lease-Leaseback Project delivery method, Architect shall provide those services designated in the Services Matrix for Construction Projects necessary to assist the Owner in establishing the Owner’s educational or facility program/s, the financial feasibility, time requirements and limitations for the project prior to beginning design. Compensation for these services shall be enumerated in Exhibit A, incorporated herein by reference. 2.1.3.6 The Architect shall be responsible to investigate existing conditions or facilities and confirm such conditions or facilities as relates to work under this Project. The Architect or its consultant will conduct the research that is in its professional opinion necessary for the Project, and will incorporate such conditions that relate to work of this Project within the drawings for construction. Such services of the Architect or its consultants will be performed in a manner consistent with the ordinary standard of care.
Initial Planning Phase of Project. (i) Perform on-site evaluation for all existing sites for the establishment of existing conditions and proposed design criteria for the modernization project, including the identification of building ADA accessibility issues that will need to be addressed. (ii) Meet with required District personnel and/or committees as required to establish design parameters and district standards and priorities related to the modernization of the schools. (iii) Review District’s current technology plan and implement this plan into the modernization of the schools to the extent possible, and/or help District establish minimum requirements for the implementation of technology into the schools through the modernization projects. (iv) Provide advice and assistance to District in determining the feasibility of the Project, the type and quality of materials and construction to be selected, the site location and other initial planning matters. (v) Architect shall notify District in writing of potential complications, cost overruns, unusual conditions, and general needs that potentially impact the Project budget and timeline. (vi) Architect shall assist and advise District in securing easements, encroachment permits, coordination with utilities, rights of way, dedications, coordination with adjacent property owners, infrastructure, and road improvements. (vii) If so required by the District, Architect shall assist in the conducting of the "initial study" and any other documents necessary for compliance with the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act.

Related to Initial Planning Phase of Project

  • Development Phase contractual phase initiated with the approval of ANP for the Development Plan and which is extended during the Production Phase while investments in xxxxx, equipment, and facilities for the Production of Oil and Gas according to the Best Practices of the Oil Industry are required.

  • Construction Phase Services 3.1.1 – Basic Construction Services

  • Phase II A small portion of the work for the Phase II modifications to the Plattsburgh Substation will be performed by Transmission Owner, and the remainder will be performed by Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx. A detailed definition of the specific scope for Transmission Owner and Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx including interface points shall be defined during the design phase and, as such documents become available, copies will be delivered to the NYISO, Transmission Owner, Noble Altona Windpark, LLC and Marble River, LLC. The full scope includes the installation of wave traps, CCVT’s and modifications and/or additions to relaying on the MWP-1 and MWP- 2 lines. These lines will be reconfigured at the completion of Phase II to connect to Xxxxx and Xxxxxxx Substations on MWP-1 and the Xxxx Substation on MWP-2. Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx will design the upgrades and purchase the materials based on the outline specification that was prepared and issued by Transmission Owner. The work to be performed by Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx will include both the materials for the exterior and interior installations and items for Transmission Owner installation inside the control building in existing relay panels and communication racks. In addition, Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx will be responsible for the exterior and interior construction work and will provide construction management services in coordination with Transmission Owner. The civil design for the foundations and the electrical design for the cable runs to the control room will be designed by, as approved by Transmission Owner, and installed under the supervision and control of Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx. The equipment will be selected and procured in accordance with the specifications developed during the detailed engineering phase, copies of which shall be furnished to the NYISO, Transmission Owner, Noble Altona Windpark, LLC and Marble River, LLC. The construction of the foundations, structures, wave traps, CCTV and cable runs into the control building to the termination cabinets will be completed by Clinton and Xxxxxxxxx. The work at the Plattsburgh Substation will be installed under Transmission Owner’s CPP-1. Transmission Owner will provide Protection and Controls Engineering, install and terminate wiring from the termination cabinets to the control panels and relays, install relays and equipment in the existing panels, and will commission such work inside the 230kV control building. Transmission Owner will develop the communications protocols and data flow over the circuits.

  • Design Development Phase INDICATE IN STATEMENT OF WORK “NOT APPLICABLE” IF SECTION IS NOT APPLICABLE 1.1.6.1. The ARCHITECT/ENGINEER shall prepare from the approved Schematic Design Studies, the Design Development Documents consisting of drawings (including at least architectural, landscaping, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical plans, building sections; and finish schedule), outline specifications following the Construction Specification Institute "CSI" Format and other necessary documents to fix and describe the size and character of the entire Project as to its site, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, materials and other such essentials as may be appropriate, for and until approved by the State. 1.1.6.2. The ARCHITECT/ENGINEER shall conduct meetings with the State, Efficiency Vermont, and relevant members of the design team, to review the Design Development Documents for the purposes of furthering the energy efficiency objectives of the Project. 1.1.6.3. The ARCHITECT/ENGINEER shall prepare for the State a revised accounting of how the Project is responding to LEED criteria. 1.1.6.4. The ARCHITECT/ENGINEER shall submit to the State a revised Statement of Probable Construction Cost based thereon for and until approved by the State.

  • Annual Work Plans and Budgets The Recipient shall furnish to the Association as soon as available, but in any case not later than September 1 of each year, the annual work plan and budget for the Project for each subsequent year of Project implementation, of such scope and detail as the Association shall have reasonably requested, except for the annual work plan and budget for the Project for the first year of Project implementation, which shall be furnished no later than one (1) month after the Effective Date.

  • Phase 2 Phase 2 is expected to consist of Member Nodes and a select number of Nodes operated by non-Members. The non-Member Nodes will be required to comply with Node hosting terms as set forth by the Council, which may be amended from time to time (the “General Node Terms”).

  • Research Project The findings of any research project, which would change the provisions of this Agreement will not be implemented until such changes are negotiated and agreed to by the parties.

  • Construction Phase Fee Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee is the maximum amount payable to Contractor for any cost or profit expectation incurred in the performance of the Work that is not specifically identified as being eligible for reimbursement by Owner elsewhere in this Agreement. References in the UGSC to Contractor’s “overhead” and “profit” mean Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee. The Construction Phase Fee includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 9.1 All profit, profit expectations and costs associated with profit sharing plans such as personnel bonuses, incentives, and rewards; company stock options; or any other like expenses of Contractor.

  • Project Work Plan The Statement of Work is the formal document incorporated into the Grant. The Project Work Plan documents how the Grantee will achieve the performance measures outlined in the Grant. Changes to the Statement of Work require an amendment. Project Work Plans may be changed with written approval from PEI and the Grantee.

  • Development Schedule The Project shall substantially comply with the specific timetables and triggers for action set forth in Article 5 of this Agreement. The parties acknowledge that, as provided in G.S. 160A-400.25(b), the failure to meet a commencement or completion date shall not, in and of itself, constitute a material breach of this Agreement pursuant to G.S. 160A-400.27 but must be judged based upon the totality of the circumstances.
